Back in the 90's when you could camp in the dunes north of Coral Bay we found a little bay called boat harbour, it's in the protected zone now, but then we lived there for a few weeks, only going back into Coral Bay for fresh water. I had a little 12 ft tinny with a 10hp on the back, each day I would head out to the reef spinning up spangly's goldens GT's. I was often the only boat out there. There are no easy tracks out there, and wind is always a factor, but you are well set up so there you go!
Excellent! And: ... Good photography/video and composition for a change. Very welcome indeed. My choice of boat too. I like the Turtle running for cover drone shot, ...
Great video, love the boat my little Stabi is 20 years old and still going strong. You will be amazed at the places a Stabi will take you they punch way above their weight👍
9:28 that must've close mate, stay safe. I'm loving the Stabi setup you've got going. The perfect size for trailering around and pretty capable in open waters, It's a weapon.
Really nice set up you got there, this is my missus and my dream when she retires soon, to get the 4X4 hook up my boat and travel from SA across the Nullabor and travel all up the coast to the top end. Great clip mate, living the dream
AGood tip for Spanish in Ningaloo is follow the reef drop off 20 to 30 metres along the contour. Go out further 70 to the 100 metre drop off. and troll 6" pink and white skirts for sailfish and small black marlin.
Hey Salty just found you. Very inspiring !! Awesome set up. Love that boat and trailer. A trick question re the shirts you wear. They look like cotton rather than synthetic? I prefer cotton long sleeve can't find something lightweight for hot and humid. where do you get yours. Cheers Mate and Safe travels.
Thanks mate, welcome aboard! I've always used Patagonia long sleeve fishing shirts or just some normal trade/ work shirts. They both tend to do the trick.
Absolutely love you channel, but it ABSOLUTELY SUCKS that your Stabicraft is about a $60,000 vessel. Damn, 99.9% of people cannot afford that. I think Stabi are excellent, but the total cost to have a great setup is $60 Plus.....
Cant go wrong with the Stabi. Safest and strong tinnie
Buckley doing the Shaka with you was epic

It was a strange week. Followed the 15-30m contours every sunrise and sunset and got nothing. No one was getting much that week for some reason.
@@SaltyDavenport Happens. My favourite time of year is end of February to may. 2 to 3 days of Glass a week still really hot and heaps of fish.
Thanks Salty :)

Nice solo gaff
Nice place Ningaloo. Did you camp at Winderabandi? That track in is horrendous eh!
Yeah the track is really bad. Jumped around to a few different spots there just to test out the beach launching and overnight anchorage.
Love tudo isso
Crisp 👌🏿
Great life mate, but I have to admit, you're one cool mofo!!
Haha thanks mate
what lures were the macks on?
They were on Halco Redheads. Managed to get a couple on the DhuBite trolling lures also.
👍🍺🇭🇲❤️
use a boat like it should be,,, don't molycuddy it. its aluminium
after all.
I see that, Ali's can take a bit more of a bashing but at the end of the day your gear will last you longer if you take care of it 🤙
