You can but taste will not be the same
Thank YOU ❤
thanks there is measurement mentioned hopefully you will add this to make it easier.
I am not sure I understand your question. The recipe in the description has measurements.
In Mombasa the outer layer should not be cooked only the sqr one should be cooked. My dad and uncle was the one who created this in Mombasa!
Thanks for the tip
Very true the best kima chapati was of Aswan hotel, Gulshan hotel but no one can beat Aswan
😊😊
Your instructions to make larger roti are not clear. What temperature for the oven and how long? And also what pan to use
It’s like making samosa paar you can use any pan that goes in the oven or on stove top large enough to hold the Rotli I used my regular 16 inch tawa pan
In the oven at 400F
Thank you

Once it’s cooked and cooled you can freeze it. Thaw and reheat it on low heat when and ready to enjoy

One tip is blow air when you separate them they will loosen faster
Hi. Can i know if i make these chapatis with ready made spring roll or samosa pastry?
As shown in the video I made the dough myself samosa pastry. It’s not hard to do. Watch my video and try it I have step by step instructions.
@@MumtazHasham Yes, I make them in USA and it turns out great with Spring roll wraps/ Samosa pastry.
Just buy filo pastry from the shop, I personally like to put a whole egg on top of the mince.
i make it with the second step. same style.

Hello Mumsicle.please accept many thanks from my kids as I prepared and gave them with surprise,
Very nice thank you for trying my recipes alhamdhullilah
I think large roti should not be cooked. That is how we used to make in Nairobi
These rotis are cooked very lightly
