Asalaam aleihkum Don. Made the kheema chapatti today. It’s turned out delicious 🤤 didn’t have spring onions so substituted with red onion and it’s still yummmmmo!
Walaikum Salaam - ahh that's amazing to hear you tried the keema chapati and enjoyed it. It's one of our all-time favourite recipes, so we're super pleased that you also enjoyed it! 😊
Mouth watering kheema roti or can say paratha love it the presentation, and recipe ..... And I recommend my mom the way that you cook kheema (vapourised all water) make chunky it's nice ,,, can also use it in samosa filling
Thanks a lot! Absolutely - we have used this same keema mixture in our samosa video and our Katlesi video too. It's very versatile. We also freeze the keema and have used it for shepherds pie, lasagna, keema puff pastry, spaghetti and sooooo many others!
Wow.... mouth watering. In Malaysia & Singapore we have something almost similar to it. We call it MURTABAK. This would make a good meal for dinner or during Ramadhan. Thank you for sharing this wonderful recipe. ❤️
Ahh that's interesting, it's also called Murtabak or Mutabbaq in the Middle East too. We often have it at home, especially during Ramadan. Definitely a family favourite recipe and also great for picnics!
This looks soo delicious! Such a perfect presentation of this soft melt in the mouth delicious keema rotis! These are So perfect for lunch or dinner , pass me the plate pls😋
The texture of these looks amazing! Well done. And with a more health conscious aspect to the recipe, it's very appealing. Great video! -l subscribed & will watch your videos like 9
That Qeema made with so much perfection and delicacy!! Your plating is truly very exquisite. And I totally love how you are really experimental with your food. As always, this was a Fail-proof recipe!! ❤️😊
Thank you! You're right, it's very popular in Mombasa, but my mum also has fond memories of having this when she was growing up in Tanzania (where she learnt this recipe). I believe originally it was brought over by Arab cuisine as it is also known as Mutabbaq in the Middle East. We absolutely love it and often have it at home 😊
