  • Joanna died when I was 7, and that plunged me into depression, but as the smoke cleared, and as I grew, I came to appreciate the gifts her death granted me.
    Without the event, I would not be the same person I am today, I doubt I would have as much drive, passion, or determination without that event shaping every aspect of my life.
    So, while the grief and pain never fully fade, I've come to appreciate the events that have created me.
