Thanks for noticing. Didn't want to harp on it too much, but it really was difficult for us. It meant we had to soak all of that cost for 4 months (money tied up), but we knew it was the right move so that people didn't feel like they bought right before a new version launch. It gives people who want the original the option to buy it, but also creates a long time gap (~4-5 months) between the previous availability. It was a tough 4 months with how much money was tied-up in that inventory, but worked out great for everyone and was the right thing to do.
@@GamersNexus Can the Mod Mat be used as a mousemat? I've always loved the idea of having the entire desk be a huge mousemat with cool details about pc components. I know it definitely wouldn't be ideal but would love to hear you guys's experience with mice on it.

Wow! Thanks for all the support and thank you for the kind words and noticing the effort. Definitely not rebrands, haha. That bar runner was insanely difficult to get made. The factory was really confused why we wanted such a complicated design instead of just the company logo and no other changes.

Hey Steve, please make a section on your store about shipping, specifically which shipping company you use. Shipping companies like UPS, DHL and FedEx will charge a flat brokerage fee to import items into other countries. This flat fee is for example around $115 for UPS in Greece (plus duty and VAT), and instantly kills any chance of purchasing a small item, say a modmat. Dbrand ships with FedEx and they use what is called DDP, which is duties and customs paid by the shipper.
