- Build a PC hardware monitor with these 2 easy-to-build designs that use a 5 inch 800 x 480 touchscreen from Elecrow. It primarily has the Raspberry Pi in mind, however it's a brilliant little screen which you can easily add to your PC for a small (but useful!) secondary display.
In the video I give a full review of the screen, then show you how you can make a frame for the screen using cardboard, and finish off showing the free software you can use to add hardware monitoring gauges to the screen.
The Elecrow 5" screen (model AUS25507D-1) is available on Amazon here; amzn.to/3LGo9IF

Hey, just wanted to let you know that version 3.5 is out now and has changed a lot since you made this video. In case you want to check it out.
Thanks for including the gauges in your video.
Version 3.5 looks great Ricardo! Huge thanks for making them in the first place.. they look sooo good!
I have very quickly &short question 😊 unavailable captions on RUclips how to fixed ? If you have time ⏲️ can you please make us helpful video 📹 ❤thanks so much for your quickly response 😊
Lovely Regards all the way from Germany 🇩🇪 😊❤
There are auto-generated English captions, which I'd assumed would be available for you to view in German. Is that not working for you?
with Jonsbo D31 Screen Mesh PC case in the market, this video is very helpful for anyone who looking for free alternative of aida64
Yeah, I was quite surprised to find Aida64 wasn't free (but is often used in sensor panel builds) & hunted for a good alternative.
Can you share the full set of skins on the right side of your desktop? Thank you so much!
Sure.. they're called BlueVision v0.2
One thing im having issues with is getting the gauges to auto populate data after shutting down or restarting the pc. I have to right click on the gauge and click refresh all every time. Is there a way to get them to auto populate on startup?
Do you mean their position on-screen, or the contents of the gauges?
@@Endpoint101 the content on the gauge for example it will display the cpu temp value but when I turn the pc off and back on or restart the cpu temp value will not display till I right click on the sensor gauge and click refresh all. Then the gauge will display the cpu temp value
@@cabrapday Huh weird. I'd raise that with the developer of the gauges. There's a forum post on the RainMeter site & hopefully he'll respond.
I left a comment on his deviantart post where I got it. I wonder if my hwinfo isn’t auto starting
@@cabrapday Ah yes, it could be that, good idea!
