  • Review of the 5 inch 800 x 480 display by Elecrow (model AUS25507D-1); it's a great small screen for DIY projects, and features a capacitive touchscreen, as well as HDMI input, 2x micro USB inputs, and a headphone socket.
Everything you need to get started is in the box, including a neat flat HDMI cable, HDMI to Mini HDMI adapter, USB cable, standoffs and screws, as well as driver CD and instructions on getting the touchscreen working on a Raspberry Pi.
The Elecrow 5" screen is available on Amazon here; amzn.to/3LGo9IF
I'm going to use this in a DIY project where I'm building a PC sensor panel for monitoring hardware stats like temperatures and fan speeds. You can see that video here; • Make your own PC Senso...

I don’t see why not.. but it’s possible you may have trouble with the touch-screen if you plan on using that

I won’t need the touch, will I need any driver to boot up the batocera os?

@@Vitor.548 I doubt it'll need any other drivers then, since it just accepts any HDMI signal. If you're using a desktop environment you'll just need to set the resolution that suits your needs the best.
