Cheers! I think that was the only downside to the challenge, it wasn't as hard as it could've been. Even if I didn't know what the pattern was, I know how I (generally) construct them.
That's why, on all of my patterns, I make 1000% sure I have term key with the abbreviations, what it stands for, and any additional information if necessary. Because I WILL confuse myself 😅
That is one of those things that depends on the designer. I usually use mc for magic circle but I have been known to use it for main color. Like Izzy-cp8yt, I have a key to know what each abbreviation is for that particular pattern.
That was great! Well done you, for having the patience as well as the creativity to put that all together. As an aside, conversations with my siblings also often start with, include, or end with 'What the f.....?!' 😂 The international love language of siblings, I guess 🤭
Most likely. I'd like to revisit a lot of the challenges and put a slightly different spin on them. Like for this one, I think it'd be interesting to use someone else's pattern if I could.
Not really relevant to the pattern whatsoever but I always find it funny that it says that in crochet patterns. And knitting patterns too. It's funny to think I get confused what that means too 😅
I found a KNIT stuff animals book at my local library and got online on Amazon to see if they sell those actual books, and they do! So if you want to try expanding your horizon i think that is an excellent idea for a video.
Thank you, I use a curl cream called "John Frieda Frizz Ease Dream Curls" and "Schwarzkopf Extra Care Curl Flex Mousse". Just put those in when my hair's wet and let it dry naturally.
This is actually an interesting study into how you view yourself, I feel like. You understand yourself well enough to know your creative process. Also: Leigh: I'll give you a hint, it's one of the patterns on my channel! Me: do you have any idea how little that narrows it down
I think knowing how I usually construct my patterns made it a little bit easier than it otherwise would have been. Might have to try this one day with a pattern someone else designed. Haha, when I was editing that bit I was like, yeah, that's probably not a great clue 😂
Thank heavens my brothers dont crochet. However, crochet, infact any " yarndoodling " is engineering with fibres. Oh drat, one is an engineer , the other is a cheeky bugger, if ever they see this video? Im in serious trouble ..... 😅😅😅
Is your sister an genius supervillain? Because this has massive supervillain vibes. I love it. Please tell her she's brilliant for this puzzle.
Sisterly Mysteries? I love watching your crochet challenges, they're so much fun😄
That's a good one!! And cheers, tbh they're a lot of fun to make 💙
Congrats on getting the pattern right! I hope your hands are feeling better after your break.
Congratulations on nailing that one! It was a tricky one. Clearly you know how you think when you make patterns, consciously or not 😄
Cheers! I think that was the only downside to the challenge, it wasn't as hard as it could've been. Even if I didn't know what the pattern was, I know how I (generally) construct them.
I always thought MC was main color and the magic circle i always called it MR magic ring
That's why, on all of my patterns, I make 1000% sure I have term key with the abbreviations, what it stands for, and any additional information if necessary. Because I WILL confuse myself 😅

I saw the strips of paper in the box and said “oooohhh nooooo”. What did you do to her?? Also she’s and evil genius and I love her for that.
eee thanks so much for the shoutout on the hookup!
What did you do to your sister that lead to her making this puzzle for you 😆😆😆
Congrats for getting it right! You continue to amaze me!
I'm not sure but she must've thought it was pretty terrible lol. And thank you 💙

100% 😂😂😂
I loved this. Such a fun video. Hey, you know, maybe a crochet puzzle pattern book as merch :)
WOW, I am SOOOOO impressed. I think that I would have given up before starting hehe... You go girl :-) I love watching your videos.
This kind of helps me understand the thought process behind writing patterns. I like the way your sister did this, can you do another one this way?
Most likely. I'd like to revisit a lot of the challenges and put a slightly different spin on them. Like for this one, I think it'd be interesting to use someone else's pattern if I could.
So impressive! I can't believe you got it correct. Good job!
I too would have words with my sister 🤣
Sisterly mystery, good idea as a series on your channel and have a nice day
In most patterns I've read, "MC" stood for main color
Not really relevant to the pattern whatsoever but I always find it funny that it says that in crochet patterns. And knitting patterns too. It's funny to think I get confused what that means too 😅
MC has meant main color for the last 57 years at least because that is how long I've been reading patterns.
I found a KNIT stuff animals book at my local library and got online on Amazon to see if they sell those actual books, and they do! So if you want to try expanding your horizon i think that is an excellent idea for a video.
that was fun I like seeing how you put it together.
Well done! 👏👏👏
Fun video. I must say your hair looks glorious. Please tell me what product you used. I too am a curly and struggling lately.
Thank you, I use a curl cream called "John Frieda Frizz Ease Dream Curls" and "Schwarzkopf Extra Care Curl Flex Mousse". Just put those in when my hair's wet and let it dry naturally.
🤗😘name for the video set ... The Escape= The " Evil Sister Crochet And Puzzle Experiment. 😂
Love it 😂
Thanks honey by all means nick it 🤣🤗
Now imagine doing this with someone else's pattern, where you know absolutely nothing about how they work 😂😂
Great video, thank you!
The plan is to do that at some point, I reckon it'd would be so much harder!
This is actually an interesting study into how you view yourself, I feel like. You understand yourself well enough to know your creative process.

😂😂😂 and I've gotta say I love the term, "yarndoodling". Might have to borrow that one lol.
@@SkeinSpider Borrow away !
Can anyone help me find her large spider pattern?
caterpillar??
A cat with socks?
Your sister likes torturing you way to much when she does these challenges.
You're not wrong 😂
Brilliant idea. I hope my brother doesn’t see this video. Your sister is evil.
Spider?
