The alpaca yarn is almost identical to Joann's K&C Cloudpaca. It has the same yardage, alpaca content and is chain spun. Its on sale right now for $5.59. I have 2 donuts to make a hat, but haven't found the right pattern yet. It really is soft and squishy. Sometimes people don't realize that the big box stores do carry some higher end yarns usually at lower prices. I'm struggling like many, but I love to hear about any and all yarn even if I can't afford it. That's why I appreciate all the time and effort you and Cody put into your reviews. In future, it will be wonderful to see how it works up in that yarn. Lastly, the sample done in the Cloud yarn looks very cozy. ❤️
I love the boxed white/beige and pink yarn you got 😍. The three colors together reminded me of neopolitan ice cream 🍨😂. Though the chocolate was lighter. I'm gonna check out the woolen walk yarn ❤. Loved too the gray and white skein.

I am always having to frog at least a little on every project I make, and the last yarn I tried to crochet had that same kind of a halo, and it didn't frog very easy so I've been reluctant to get any yarn that has a halo to it.
