I tried on my own to find the right girl for a decade. Yes, God helped me in my teens and 20’s to avoid falling into lust traps, He definitely can do that with us. But when my wife and I both started praying (separately, we hadn’t met yet) that we had tried and our relationships had failed leaving us heartbroken, and asked God to lead us to the right person, that’s when we met. God is so good!

Single doesn’t have to mean alone. Enjoy your relationship with the Lord and the other loved ones in your life. If you have love to give then bless others with it while knowing Jesus loves you more than anyone else ever could and that He will bless you with all the love you need.
      -peace

I believe so. Although I was married and am not now, I have chosen to stay single. I love that I can enjoy time with God and learn more about what is ahead for this world and God will look after me. There are people in my life who contribute to my happiness; but He has blessed me in so many ways, it is God that fulfills us ultimately.

Wow! Good questions. Jesus fulfilled ceremonial/sacrificial law at His death, so we don’t have to keep that and keep killing animals. Will God ever “fulfill” something in the Ten Commandments that makes murder or worshipping another god allowable after that? No!
It’s a mistake to try to lump all the laws in the Bible together and say they’re “nailed to the cross”. Only the Jewish civil (“handwriting of requirements”) and ceremonial laws (“shadow of things to come, the substance of which is Christ”) were “wiped out”. Colossians 2:14-17.
Yes, the word “sabbaths” shows up there, but ceremonial sabbaths (Jewish feast days) pointed FORWARD to the Messiah, while the seventh day Sabbath of the Ten Commandments points BACKWARD as a memorial of God creating us and our world. The seventh day Sabbath came BEFORE sin, but the ceremonial sacrificial system came in RESPONSE to sin. They’re not the same and the Sabbath (or any of the Ten Commandments) is not addressed in Colossians 2.
