This dude is a character and a half. The welded r190 almost got me
Dude is out of control
For reals hey at least he looks happy man is all gud let him do him, but he funny.
Spencer, long time... 30K on my Z1 rear LSD in my Q50RS AWD. Your LSD works like a charm with no downside.
I'm installing Pure Stage 2 turbos and after the Re-tune will be at 525-540 wheel HP. So decided to also install the Quaife ATB Helical LSD in the FRONT of my Q50. Since I'll be making over 100 more HP than I already have with my EcuTec tune it made sense.
I also put AP Racing Radi-Cal-II BBK on my Q50 with Ferodo DS1.11 pads about a year ago.😁
FYI RS-R has DDS compatible Coilovers now. Don't know if you carry them. If not, they might be a good add to your Q50/60 suspension parts section
Thanks for all your help. 👍🏻
I had to get one. Thanks for answering all my questions. I love the folks at Z1. Ive dealt with them B4. This, and an AMS intake are all I have to do before I tune it.
Thanks John! We look forward to hearing from you soon, be sure to leave a review on the site once you get your diff in!
Welp now I know what’s on my Christmas list. I have a 2015 AWD pain in the ass trying to swing the car. This will help a lot!
I have been wanting one as well.. I'm wondering why I can never find a review.
Please Z1 make a turbo kit for 3.7 Q50! We are tired of the all the new Q50 owners clowning on the 3.7L I want to shut them up. Lol
I wanna buy this just cuz this guy is funny
thanks for making this!
Loving the new intro!!
Any turbo upgrade kits coming soon :)?
they have one now
The fact that this exists makes me think twice about getting the awd model Q50, as I DO NOT want the complex and heavy AWD system just for more stability, but the "out of control" nature of an open diff with so much power (with a tune) is scary. My old IS350 would flip out everywhere just getting into traffic fast
Oooooooh this is soooooo tempting ;)
So can fully do donuts with This without the abs interfering?
Do you have to turn the brake assist off on the car and if so how do you do that
Hi, I was wondering how this stacks up against the wavetrac lsd?
+Z1Motorsports - Do you guys have any plans to investigate/or consider offering an OEM replacement to the drive-belts/pulley's for the VR30 engine?
There's been more then a few reports of people blowing an engine and having to wait weeks for a new one to come in and Infiniti has a TSB up for the car
But hasn't been very forthcoming with information.
I'm sure they''d be a fairly popular product with those looking to mod their Q50/60 cars as more then a few people in the community are worried about the issue being expedited by the tune/mods.
The belt issue is caused by a mis-alignment of the A/C compressor. At this point, there's no part to replace that will resolve the belt shredding / coming off. The service procedure in the TSB covers re-alignment of the compressor to get the pulley orientation right.
@Z1Motorsports ah yes that is what the service bulletin reported, thanks for re-iterating that.
There was a few 2017 and 2018 models affected by the issue despite not being included in the TSB so I was curious if z1 had any additional info or perhaps plans
to develop a fix. I know a few of the members are checking their alignment every other week because of fear of the belt slipping, and more then a few others who had multiple
belt failures after they had the first one go.
So the paranoia is strong for a few of us. :)
We certainly understand the paranoia. Our '17 Q60 had the belt issue, we never lost the belt but after picking up the car originally we were able to see that the compressor wasn't aligned and the belt was obviously offset on the pulleys as a result. We've heard of people that have still had the belt issues after having the dealers service/adjust the compressor to solve the issue, it's unclear whether or not this was a result of an improper service or if the compressor just isn't staying in the position it's set.
Z1Motorsports True enough it can be hard to pin-point things like that sometimes, and the quality of a dealerships repairs can be seriously hit and miss. lol
Replace the OEM serpentine belt with a Gates belt, P/N K060766A, available through RockAuto.com. $34 + tax & shipping.
Is it 2way or 1.5 way?
Did u find out?
Static Alpha no:( they didn't reply me
Helical is the best differential in the world. Change my mind.
What are my options with a g37x?
Snag one from a G37xs probably easiest method, in terms of aftermarket I think the g37 uses a different diff.
Damn that's kinda stupid that they wouldn't put lsd in from the factory. Especially from a q60 which I would consider to be a luxury sports coupe.....I have a 2015 q60s that's rwd and I believe it comes equipped with an lsd..... at least that's what my lead foot tells me lol!
Is this a 1.5 way diff?
Thoughts on a diff for awd??? 🤔🤔
The Z1 Street Pro fits AWD and 2WD. AWD cars will certainly love the added grip in the rear.
Z1Motorsports but what above t the front diff and transfer case I should have elaborated
There isn't much of a necessity in upgrading the front diff currently, since most of the grip is in the rear. You'd notice a big enough difference upgrading the rear diff alone that you'll probably won't feel that the front is necessary to upgrade.
Is anyone going to do a review of this in the car??? I've been waiting over a year
doggystyledave I just bought one few days ago...waiting for them to get the core then they’ll start building mine. Currently have a premium with RWD 2.611 ratio diff and I upgraded ratio to 3.133 from the Red Sport. I can’t find an install video so debating on if I wanna do the install myself. Also debating on installing a y pipe at the same time since I have to take it off and possibly lower down pipes...less labor in the long run.
@@deamac you have hybrid? were there any problems after installing 3.133?
I just Love this guy!
This dude could sell me a bag of Poop.
First: Hawtness
I'll buy it if you can make it work on my G37Xs :D
It won't work on your G37X, but if you give us a call, we can talk you through your options!
hi
hilarious
Dude you are extemely annoying. JUST GET TO THE POINT! Wasting so much time yapping
