I think this is more likely than getting Boyd, Higgens or Aiyuk. It makes more sense to go after a receiver Wilson is more familiar with and has some chemistry.
Getting closer and closer to having football back
Sutton had 10 QB’s and still was good
Sutton would be a nice add
Did yall watch sutton last year? Dude was responsible for every big play down the field for Denver. Solid player very solid
I think the Tight End production will really pick so less pressure on WR2
I'm with deke I'm positive George Jetson is that guy .
For a big frame vet that can still play, I wouldn’t be mad at this at all
Yo Steeler Nation Courtland Sutton is a go get it type he’s physical and would complement well 👈🏾
GP will 100% take that step next year
There is also getting to know new teammates and bonding
Pickens put up #1 WR numbers with awful QB play. Pickens is going to be just fine
The reason are offense was bad was not because of the players it's because of matt canada...
GP prolly was the most underrated WR last
I don't think Denver wants to send him to us. Lol. They already paying Russ to play them.
Look at what Pickens done when dioante was hurt .with Calvin Austin..etc..enough said
I thought we was gonna be a big run first team next year?
For me, trading for Brandon from SF would be a waste in that if George does great things with the new offensive system and better quarterback play, future money should go to George. If this new system is run heavy then we don't need a wide receiver like Brandon on the Steeler roster. I'd rather get more help for the offense and defense lines with all of the draft picks that the Steelers have with a few picks late in the draft for wide receiver.
Yeah having two great receivers would really suck when we draft a QB next year
Risky if only one cuz lots of injuries happen.
GP has not yet earned a top market deal… basing this year off years down the line makes no sense. And Aiyuk is more worth his projected contract than the $20+mil that Sutton wants.
Man I think gp and Calvin Austin 3 will make not a big jump a huge jump with muth back health and Washington on his second year and that 2headed monster in the back field we can win 10+ games if Russ and smith come with it
If CA3 shows he can beat press coverage consistently sure. There’s been lots of fast guys who don’t make the jump. Right now he’s not even a one trick pony Mike Wallace type. The potential is there. We shall see.
Scares me taking on another 1 year deal.
The offense was limited and wasn’t explosive because of Matt Canada and a QB with a limited arm. Canada never disguised what he was doing and opposing DBs knew what routes we were running 80% of the time. It had nothing to do with GP or DJ. Are we really still discussing this? When Pickens gets WR1 targets he produces, the dude is an Alien. Like wth are we talking about haha?
Courtland would be happy with a short term deal if the guaranteed money fits his needs. But why investing a pic for a one year contract ? Courtland is not pricy and he is not a diva and he is a very capable pass catcher. The Diggs situation was for the Texans a very pricy diva from who you don't know what you get and you have to prepare and cover your franchise for the worst possible while hoping for the best. Courtland is a rocksolid personality who already made some awesome one handed contested catches in the endzone with Russ passing. Watch the Russ highlights 2023 passing to Courtland, he is phantastic !
Let’s get Sutton then draft Coleman in the 2nd
Pickens is going to be top 5
👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽
Go get ceedee and be done!! "Mic drop"
That wr room is going to be 🗑️
I know that he hasn't had the best stats the last few years, but i think he will get a contract with around 17/18 mil a year. Even Jerry Jeudy got that.
Deke is the best at interrupting you and not having a clue what he's talking about 😆 Although his football knowledge is improving, he needs to pump the brakes a bit. You're not quite Skip Bayless yet, but you're getting there Deke 😂
He sucks, I hope not
What is it with Deke and never wanting to give a player a contract? They're not doing this for free.
Deke really cheap with the contract suggestions, wants everyone to take a pay cut 😂
He’s the epitome of a delusional Steeler fan
But let Kenny Pickett throw 2 td’s in a game, he’s finna give him 500 million.😂
Dudes like him get paid way way to much. Frankly every last football player gets paid wayy too much.
Bro thought James Pierre was a lockdown corner and glazed kenny pickett lol
@@thatguydilly160 how many TDs did Pierre let up?
The "center or bust" talk in Pittsburgh has gotten out of hand.
Graham Barton at #20 is a bit of a reach (there are prob going to be guys like DeJean, Brian Thomas, & OT's that'll be a great value at #20).
Idk if I'd draft Jackson Powers-Johnson with his concussion history, maybe a Trey Smith-esque flyer in the 5th Rd+?
I'd take Zach Frazier in the mid 2nd, but I'm trading up from #51 rather than down from #20 for that with how talented this first round is everywhere (but C).
I’d trade for Sutton for the right price, give him a diontae type contract but nothing more
Cheapest offense in the league 😳
Defense highest 😂
Courtland and Ladd.
