this recording might be the truest to the actual record i've ever heard. the title track is almost identical to the studio version. from the dead sound of the drums, to the slide guitar ambiance, to nick's screams... its pretty uncanny

Hey to ‘MyQOTSA..”, I want to send you a big thx for posting this up for all QOTSA fans like myself to get the chance to hear! Since hearing ‘em for the very 1st time being when they world premiered their video for “Lost Art of ...”, I’ve been hooked in ever since & never looked back. Homme is no doubt a musical genius when it comes to creating a great rock n roll sound! So great the formula of sound he’s able to put together time n time again. To which (IMO that is) if there’s any1 out there who’s a huge fan of rock music but somehow don’t care for these guys... idk what to say? Just don’t know/see how in anyway whatsoever some1 could be a true fan of rock music but not like the music Josh & the boys of QOTSA continue to deliver time after time again & again! Whether it’s live on stage or laid out in the studio to hear on cd of whichever LP etc etc., the sound they bring to the table seems to just never fail w/being able to flat out rock! Anywho... just please continue to post up on here any other live shows or well, any/all QOTSA material you get/have on your hands!

This is gold. Lanegan on You're So Vague? Obviously that song just wasn't dark and sinister enough to begin with, so might as well make it truly menacing. Audio is fantastic. Mille grazie for the upload.

Pure rock n roll kiddies - saw them multiple times around this time, BDO in Sydney, Enmore and Hordern in Syd, Epic.

This audio is better than what I could hear at the actual gig that night. The conference centre's acoustics are lousy.
