It's kind of comforting, and genuinely kind of amazing how many people are going through this journey in such a young age. I, myself, is the same age as you, and it makes me happy that there are other kids my age that are in a similar path. Instead of Basketball, I'm doing Volleyball and Badminton.

It’s good to not chase women for sure, and it’s what men should do. But, just not chasing girls isn’t gonna attract them. You actually have to talk to them and work on yourself everyday so that you develop the confidence in yourself
My life currently is so similar to yours rn, once I got cut during the basketball tryouts I gave up on the sport and lost my purpose. The summer after that I became a degenerate and wasted my whole summer inside my crib. Grade 11 I was ready to improve but still had no real purpose, so I was gloomy most of the time. The summer before grade 12 I decided to improve my hygiene and personality to chase women, this was like a placeholder for my purpose, I need to find my real purpose, so I can finally be happy.

0:00 - 1:45 interesting how this also happened to me (i was playing bball with my friends then i asked them if they liked somebody then they asked the same question to me and i said it was that new girl that i saw during art class, they started making me talk to her or ask her out but i never did because i never had the confidence to do so. 3/4 months later i then start seeing signs if she liked me back but i ignored it, then 8 months later i started thinking about it then all those signs came together making me realize that maybe she did like me but i just told myself that it doesn't matter anymore since i don't like her anymore) (i know some parts are not exactly the same as his experience and sorry that i have such a bad grammar)

I’ve felt the same way so many times man. One way you can see if she’s interested in talking to you by just not talking to her for a little bit. If she really wants to talk to you then she’ll make a move first and start talking to you. If she just doesn’t talk to you at all then she probably isn’t interested. Now I mean if the person is super shy or anxious then that might not work, but as a general rule it should. You got it man.
