Hi Mary Beth. This is a particularly wonderful episode. The glass space is fantastic. The Duncan Miller candelabra made my heart beat a little faster. I too favor green depression glass. It's delights me. The ff pig I saw at Ladybug is great. I have 2 friends who love and collect them so I now always notice them. The art and music carvings are beautiful. I so appreciate and enjoy the places you take us. And all I learn. Thank you much.

I collect the Pink Depression glass mainly but I have a couple of pieces in green and blue. I also collect Fire King mainly in the gold but have some pics in the pearlescent white. I have the Jeanette pitcher and 8 glasses with white design. I'm looking for the Madiera pattern either old or reproduction in plates saucers cups and salad plates or bowls. I love my collections. I can't afford to pay a lot as I'm on social security now which isn't much but would still like to have at least 4 place settings. Then I would be complete. I also have a pink deviled egg tray that I treasure which I know of only 2. I'm sure there's more around but I hunted a long time for that. Love it all!!!

Interesting and very informative - thank you!! Scales are probably greengrocer’s scales. Sweet shop scales would not be so big or heavy and would have an oval shaped bowl with a pointed opening at one end for pouring sweets into bags. Some English fine china miniature pieces were not salesman’s samples, they were used in doll houses.
