@@FindingParadise yes it was amazing. i really got the feeling of all the beaches in santa fe lol, knew exactly the tides and how the landscape would change through the days/weeks/ months. my favorite period was the first two weeks of May or so.of course easter is to be avoided for 3 days for all the amount of people that trash and crowd the becahes to disbelief but it lasts just a few days. we probably want to go back and live there. we also conceived our son on the island who now is over 3 yrs old

Hi I'm planning to go to Philippines next year but I'm not decided yet on which island to visit first I like Palawan and Cebu. Which of these are easier to get from manilla? Im in budget
I'm not familiar with Palawan so I can't advise which is better. There are plenty of flights from Manila to Cebu (more than Palawan) to keep prices competitive and to answer your question more flights makes it easier I guess. Have a look online at the airline booking sites to check fares. More inconvenient times generally cheaper (ie early hours of the morning). Good luck and enjoy :)
Hi Rob, it took me a long time to decide which island in Cebu province I would visit this summer. I've only been to Mactan and I didn't like the beaches there , I've decided to go to Bantayan and stay in Santa Fe. Are there any night time activities there like bars?
They do have a few but it's fairly tame. I have done some other videos on Bantayan Resorts in my channel if you take at. I show a little of this in them. Mind you it was a little while ago. Cheers.

Most of your top 10 are far.(south and north of cebu).there are many nice and high end beach resorts as well within mactan island. Which are more accessible from the airport.and the losoan island is a very nice beach too.a very small island close to mactan island
If you want to catch a bus you will need to head to Cebu North Bus Terminal at SM. At the airport there are plenty of taxis who can take you to the bus station. The taxis will probably also offer take you all the way to Hagnaya Port (where you catch the ferry to Bantayan) if you want. That's around 3500 PHP. If you take the bus there are 2 buses you can take the one to Hagnaya Port; There you just buy your ferry ticket and head onto the ferry.. There is also some direct buses to Bantayan- the bus just goes onto the ferry. It's pretty easy but there's always someone there that can help you at the bus station if you have any questions.
For a day trip only probably Alcoy, or if you want more time do a day use at one of the luxury resorts in Mactan like the Shangri-la , although the beaches are man-made.
From Cebu City there are a couple you can do as a day trip. Places like Bantayan and Malapascua you'll need more time and yes a combination of road and ferry. I have done some other videos on this in my channel.

I actually looked at that resort, just a quick walk around. I didn't stay but I was thinking of staying there in the future. I cut my Bohol trip a bit short because of the typhoon. Looking around it looked pretty decent for a mid ranged hotel, nice garden area - something I would stay at . It's not right on the beach and from memory to get toAlona Beach you needed to go back to the highway first as directly in front was the Best Western Ivy Resort.
@@FindingParadise Alona golden palm is a good resort first 7 bottom rooms are nice hot water and coffee kettle 2 glasses free cold service water . Walk straight out to little oil 5ft deep cozy quaint for a couple friendly staff beautiful sitting area with fountain in yard under cover definitely worth staying..
That's the negative of something that becomes popular, everyone then wants to visit! Actually with the pandemic you can go there now and maybe get it to yourself (not on weekends or holidays though).
