If u have Philips led bulbs? Can u doa review about that?
And then review which is a better option, sylvania standard led vs. zevo 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼

I dont think that the 3157A Zevos work very good. They last a long time but they are not as bright as factory bulbs, and they are not the same color as the 194A. They just dont match and it really bothers me on my truck. The red bulbs are super bright and work great though, as well as the white bulbs.

I have to agree with u.
I tried the sylvania zevo 7443R led brake light bulbs on my 2015 lifted Scion xB. And it works very well.
The 7440A on the other hands. It works ok, decently bright-ish in daytime and I notice some of the drivers are not letting me merge or letting me move to a different lane. The front was a bit brighter than the back. But it has some dark spots.
As much as I love the zevo led bulbs and recommend them, these 7440A doesn’t work well for my application.
It just depends on how ur tail lights and headlights design.
If a tail light turn signal housing have a flat area that’s not too roomy lookin housing, the Amber zevo led will work well. Especially when it comes to amber color lens to bright them up more.
But if it’s a large chrome housing, it can light up but not fully.
Brake lights are the way to go. Turn signals, it’s a game of buy and try or hit or miss type of Amber.
That’s why we prefer a 360 led lights that are ultra bright. Like lasfit, auxito, auxbeam. With wattage make 24-28 watts per bulb.
While zevo Amber turn signals that’s two sides only makes 1.5 watts.
Again, red led making 0.4 watts parking light and 1.5 watts brake function works very well.
      But 50/50 for turn signals.

I will say this though. Not all vehicles will work well on 3157A zevo bulbs. I see these work well on smaller reflector style for turn signals. For example my family’s 2017 Toyota sienna LE front 3157A. With small circle shape reflectors, the zevo amber led bulbs works wondering and keeps the light output full. Looks very oem plus.
If it’s a large housing like modern F250 trucks, the zevo 3157A will not be bright enough and the led only face backwards, and not covered with a 360 type.
On the 7440 rear amber turn signals for the zevo bulbs, or maybe small yet narrow. But the 2sided rear turn signal wasn’t good enough.
I’m wondering if a standard led will work, since the body of the Sylvania standard 3157A led work a little better. Because of the body is translucent, when the led lights is on, the body of the translucent will help spread the light a bit better.
Just need to test them to see how it goes.

Bytheway. When it comes to led turn signals. We know they will hyperflash.
And a load equalizer resistors works wonders by splicing the wires. Not a fan of that.
But a better option is mechanical led flasher relay.
And so my question is, what brand of the led flasher relay that’s been known for nice quality relay, that doesn’t gave up on u?
I heard Novita is the best choice and very affordable to swap the relay.
And I seen few people using that brand. Especially on our vehicles name Scion. No issues.
Does ur shop, (that includes autozone,O Reilly’s, and Advance auto parts store), sell the same Novita? Because it’s the low failure rate?

      @412psekustomzllc7  Год назад +1

Yeah so Novita is the most popular brand. They are also the brand we use. We have had absolutely no failures with them at all. We've been using them since LED replacement bulbs have been available.
We don't recommend the cheaper brand options you often see for sale on eBay and Amazon.

@@412psekustomzllc7 thanks for the response, so Novita is the way to go.
I would never go cheap ones. Not taking any chances for that.
Buying something that’s a reputable brand is better.

Hey I’m sorry to bother u again.
But do u guys still carry the Philips Vision - 7443 red led bulb replacement?
I enjoy with the zevo 7443R.
But I want to try the Philips vision 7443R.
Since they have a 2 watts vs. zevo with 1.5 watts.
I feel like these will give my 2015 Scion xB tail lights give a better lighting coverage.
If u do, do u have a link to send me directly to that item?

    • @412psekustomzllc7
      @412psekustomzllc7  Год назад +2

We do still offer them. Unfortunately we do not sell them online. We offer them to our local customers.

    • @toyotabrony
      @toyotabrony Год назад

      @@412psekustomzllc7 very nice.
Actually I found them on different online store and it took me awhile to find a specific 7443R.
And they don’t make the Philips vision anymore, since I found out they discontinued it.
So after I test them and do a side by side comparison between sylvania zevo 7443R vs. Philips vision 7443R.
The Philips makes my red tail light beam pattern that aims at my white garage was bad. While it did create a taller and square shape beam pattern, I like it but it was pretty dim.
Because the color of the red led was a bit more orange-ish red.
Which I wasn’t expecting that type of color. And it’s as dim as the incandescent bulbs.
So as a results. The sylvania zevo 7443R wins and I’m still running it to this day. On my 2015 Scion xB, with zevo it creates a nice wide rectangular beam pattern and that’s why I love them.
If the Philips vision has a pure red color and not orange-red that’s less bright, I would run them.
      But I wouldn’t recommended.
I love these type of led bulbs that shoots the led backwards and use our reflector housing for nice instense brightness.
If only other aftermarket automotive light company should use those idea and make them easily usable led bulbs.
It’s rare for zevo. Very unique design.

I’ve been running sylvania led bulbs for quite few years.
I have a 2015 Scion xB. I never pay attention to my oem incandescent bulbs. And my license plate lights been burned out few years ago. And then my front side markers burned out. And I was like, didn’t their was a light? And I didn’t care lol.
Then my incandescent front markers that are above my turn signals burned out. And those are the only ones that caught my attention the most because it expose more.
So I want 6000k sylvania led T10 bulbs. It looks nice. Not bright bright but it’s bright enough to see, and it looks nice and fresh.
Now fast forward, I go insane with LED’s.
I never go cheap before an I’m glad I didn’t. I start at the right way with sylvania LED’s. And I had no issues with them ever since.
So wen amber on my interior lights because I love the color, and it’s more comfortable.
I have sylvania T10 amber map light, the dome light though is from a different brand called brishine, and use some amber. Not exact matching color but it’s close enough.
I have the sylvania led white to amber light on my trunk. They are again, not bright bright but I move to lasfit amber. They filled out the entire trunk and that’s just what I’m lookin for. Which is why it makes 400 lumens out of a T10.
I have another pair of lasfit amber on my front side markers, and my new GTR Lighting - carbide series, 10 led amber chip bulbs. Their both super bright and way better.
Had my rear brake light bulbs just recently change couple weeks ago, with sylvania zevo 7443R bulbs. And the intensity is a little bit noticeable but also more sharper and more red color.
And I have sylvania T10 zevo white license plate light and they are nice and sharp.
Now the turn signals are incandescent 🤮 but I will replace with the super bright lasfit error canbus led bulbs, and I have my led reverse light.
But I put reverse lights with w T10 size lol. It’s not even bright, but bright enough for night time and it’s more enjoyable and more desirable color.
They are not permanent, I just change to see how it looks.
My brand new Lasfit led reverse light T15 is coming this week. Which makes 1500 LM. That’s what I want.
The brighter, the better, and more safer, so that the drivers and other people will know when I’m goin in reverse.
So as u can see, I’m addictive to LED’s.
And so far I’ve becoming a big fan of Sylvania ZEVO led lights. Because they are a big brighter and I love it.
My low beam are sylvania - silverstar ultra. And man they are nice and bright with 4000k. But again, those are just for because they last for about a year or so. It depends on how u use it much.
They are way to go if for those like me, wants better brighter halogen bulbs. The silverstar ultra are excellent for the price for around $45. But they will be replace to lasfit - LD PLUS Switchback. Which is 6000k and 3000k yellow for weather conditions.
Hopefully I get them on time before my silverstar ultra burns out on me lol.
And my high beams have SNGL 3000K led yellow light.
They’re made for fog lights but I don’t have fog lights. So I slap on my high beams for the looks of it. It’s bright enough. And I love it:
So honestly in conclusion, u can’t go wrong with Sylvania ZEVO led bulbs. Best part, is they are lifetime warranty. They will not burned easily. They last forever.

We agree 100%! Sylvania stands behind their products because they know the quality. I always tell customers "You get what you pay for".
If you go cheap you get cheap. It makes more sense to save and purchase quality because in the long term your saving. You get a better brighter product that shouldn't really ever need replacement.
Now don't get me wrong even great quality products(especially anything with electronics involved) have a failure rate. But good companies respond to these failures with replacement ASAP.
Sylvania is just one of those companies you can't go wrong with.
LasFit also makes a good product. We have customers that have had great success with their bulbs. But again they are not the cheapest bulbs on the market. So they should be quality.

@@412psekustomzllc7 that’s exactly what I said to others as well.
With premium quality parts, comes with premium quality price. And it’s a fact. We do get what we paid for.
I had one guy in our Scion xB community when I mention about, bought the Sylvania zevo led red and paid for $25. And said to me it was overpriced.
I was like, well yes and no.
Yes it is overpriced for regular people that doesn’t want to pay big price for a damn led bulb.
And no it’s not overpriced because they did a very well made quality parts.
If they have a better higher quality and easily surpassed by sylvania’s ZEVO flagship lights, the GTR Lighting have a way better quality LED’s.
For brake lights as an example a 7443R, it’s called GTR Lighting - armor series bulbs. Brake lights, reverse lights, and turn signal lights. For a pair is $78.
That I can understand but it’s still a must.
Cheap isn’t good. And good isn’t cheap.
      That’s a fact.

wait u haven’t make a form and report to sylvania LED automotive company, that u guys carry a Sylvania ZEVO for the lifetime warranty?
We know these will last for a long time. But why not consider the claim so they will cover u for anytime, if anything goes wrong like a defect?
And how’s the intensity of the ZEVO amber lights? Between daytime and nighttime?
Also I apologize to bother u like this. This it the 3rd time asking questions about it lol.😅😅
