I’m a musician & writer and that’s the joke: he’s isolating the non-verbal cliches of hip-hop and related genres (the grunts, the rhythms of the flows, etc) in order to spotlight their absurdity. It’s not that he can’t flow, it’s that he’s choosing to spotlight other parts of this kind of performance as opposed to the verbal aspect of it.
