EVERYTHING we know about SEASON 2 of MW2 & WARZONE 2 (Including the BAD)

Season 2 of MW2 (Modern Warfare 2) & Warzone 2 releases on February 15. Having initially meant to release on the 1st, the delayed season has an evident shortage of content. Especially in multiplayer, the portion of the game protected by a paywall. Alternatively, Warzone 2 and DMZ have multiple pieces of content releasing on day 1, including the new map Ashika Island which will be available in DMZ and resurgence.
Here we detail EVERY leak and blog post detailed to date, exploring what we will actually be receiving on February 15th.
The gulag will return 1v1s along with a smaller map to accommodate for this. Leaks also suggest the we're going to be seeing redeploy balloons returning, renamed as redeploy drones. Cash throughout Al Mazrah has been increased and it will no longer drop from supply boxes. Backpacks are being removed in favor of a more friendly UI. With Season 2 we will also see customizable perk packages and a fix for birds eye. You will now begin games with 3 plates rather than 2, and buy stations will be more accessible. Lastly, loadouts will be cheaper and there will now be two world loadout drops each game. A whole bunch of quality of life improvements to go along with a new map should be very exciting.
DMZ players will also be able to play on Ashika Island, with a plethora of improvements to the game mode such as improved spawns (including AI spawns), mission difficulty, faction levels will be reset as well as the introduction of a new faction: crown.
Multiplayer leaked updates unfortunately don't consist of much content but rather releasing things that should have been in the game from day one such as stats, a ranked mode, and the map museum. We will also be seeing various patches such as audio improvements, and weapon balancing. There will also be a valentine update & a bundle to go along with it.
We will be seeing a roadmap released in 3 days time, hopefully more content will be revealed at that time.

We waited so long for a remaster and a map from beta. Don’t get me wrong I love both of them but why

Fully agree, had to wait this long before they finally add stats, a hardcore mode and ranked play as well. They really don’t care about traditional MP it’s sad
