An useful tip: is waaaay easier to strain the seeds while they are hot, instead of doing it when they are cold. When straining them hot you can use a normal kitchen strainer instead of ruining some tights 😊

Great video and beautiful hair!! Considering using flaxseed, but I have a question regarding cyanide content of flaxseed gel. Is there anything to be concerned about - health-wise - when using flaxseed gel?
After having babies my curls definitely loosened, so I'm trying this because its cheap lol. I'm trying the 7 day flaxseed application, but since I have curly hair I'm going to use it as curl gel as well! Thanks for the info :)
Yes I do love it! My curls hold sooo well! I was shook lol. I feel like it's helping my hair get back to the curl definition that it had! Also my hair grew about half an inch within the 7 days of doing the flaxseed treatment!! I couldn't believe my eyes.
Thank you for such a great video! clear instructions and I loved the routine at the end. Do you only use the flaxseed gel? I use a curl cream right now and would love to keep it in my routine, do you think I could layer the products?
Thank you for your video. Very informative and right on time. I have combination curly and wavy hair. I want to use a leave in conditioner underneath that's not too heavy nor too thick. Lastly, does the flaxseed gel come out better in the pump? Compared to scooping it out of a container? Your feedback is appreciated 😇
Hey 😀nice tutorial but I once applied flaxseed gel after applying my curlup defining cream. It was fine but my hair became so dry and frizzy the next day.Can u please help me out? What am i doing wrong?
Your hair is beautiful. Do you ever let it air dry? If so, tips would be great because diffusing takes more time than I have on a regular basis. I like to wash and go.
Hi there! Would you like to suggest something so that my hair don't end up looking crunchy after the flaxseed gel gets dried in my hair...:( Shall I make the gel runny or of thick consistency? ..
@@deeshu3456 I have the same problem. I just started doing it this week, and the first day, it turned flakey and dry. So I used coconut oil as hair mask, washed it out, put the gel on and instead of shiny, smooth hair, it turned out worse. oily and even more flaky. I don't know what to do. Watched hundreds of vids, did my research. This is bloody bullsht
Just scrunch out the crunch, use your dry hands or your hands lightly coated with a very thin layer of some hair oil and scrunch your curls, when your hair has dried, to get rid of the gel cast. I didn't know about this before and I used to hate how hard and crunchy my hair got with gel or mousse but now with this trick my hair is always so soft and shiny but at the same time with defined curls.
Nope! It doesn't have to be wet, but I find that I get the best results when applying it to wet hair. As for my dryer and diffuser, I have a diffusing video over on my channel with both of them linked in the description ☺️
Hey I too have curly hair but after applying the serum, my hair is kinda rough and has not settled well. Definitely feels like some product is on hair which isn't washed properly.
Beautiful, thank you. At the beginning your hair was already wet, do you use it right after a shower when your hair is clean and wet? and do you leave all that gel in your hair until the next shower please?
How long it can stay in the fridge? Plus what is the shelf life if i dnt put in the fridge ( the one ill pour in the bottle for my regular use do i need to put that in fridge also)
Your video came up when I was looking for 'easy way how to refresh curly hair' your hair looks beautiful and curls are defined. you did not mention though whether you had dealt with crunch on your hair after using this diy so I am a year late in asking, and I am hoping you still recall the results?
It does create a bit of crunch occasionally for me, but I just gently scrunch my hair once it is totally dry and that releases the crunchy cast completely 😊
I don't think so! It does start smelling funny though going bad! I usually use it on its own! It is really moisturizing. I used to put an additional gel on top for more hold, but have found that if I apply more of the flaxseed gel, I don't need the other gel
Hi! I am not entirely sure if chia seeds would work. The flaxseeds work because they create the gel as they boil, but I'm not sure if chia seeds would do the same thing 🤔
Hey Tay 💕 I'm currently starting my curly hair journey since my hair is supper frizzy and doesn't look very healthy. Your hair type seems to be very similar to mine to im following your routine to see how it goes. Hopefully I can get my healthy curls 😊. Do you use any other product other than the gel or is the gel the only thing necessary after i wash my hair?
Congrats on starting your curly journey! It is so worth it! I find that the flaxseed gel gives my hair enough moisture and hold to use on its own, but for those who may have dryer hair, you could use a leave in underneath. You could also add a different gel on top if it doesn't give your hair enough hold 😊
