I’m at the 1 year mark in my journey and I’m literally at the same length but I started off with an Afro...I feel like we are on this journey together lol I subbed before you dyed your hair the first time
I love this color. I had bleach highlights when I had a permanent back in the day and I loved what the cor turned into. I can't wait until the weather in New York gets better. Right now we are having a bipolar March and sometimes its warm but sometimes its cold so I still cover it when I go to work. When the head wrap is put away I'll get back to washing my hair every 2 weeks or once a month and moisturize more often. I have a few flat locs and im sure thats from covering b4 its fully dry. Maybe ill try to correct those with palm rolling for my one year locaversary on April 5th but maybe not. I just brought a bonnet dryer that makes drying the hair sooooo much easier.

Love your locs! They look so healthy, the color is beautiful. I colored my hair before I started my locs and I love the faded color that is has now. I have been good at moisturizing my locs every 2-3 days I hope I keep up with it. I mainly use oil and water to moisturizer also I use my rose water and peppermint spray... do you think that’s enough? 🤔
Question is it good to interlock your hair or re-twist your hair because I have the same size locks as you and I was just wondering if I need to re-twist or interlock let me know
