To everyone watching this. Please Please don’t only watch it but cook it. By now it’s one of my favorite dishes of all times and I cook it again and again. Thank you so much for this amazing recipe ❤ cook this guys!!
love you guys!! what is so good about these videos is that they are so relaxed and so relatable- you are all such a joy to watch 🥰 Can't wait to get my hands on the new book!!! 🤗💜
I made this today to stock the freezer with COVID survival food . It was sooo delicious. Impressed myself by having a frozen Parmesan crust in my freezer. Miracles do happen. Great recipe.thankyou. 😀👍
just made this. It was very tasty and will serve MUCH more than 4 persons! I never did find the parmesan rind. I used less salt but it was fine with no added salt. I prefer the chicken pieces a bit smaller than "large shreds". The tomato and parmesan really added to the taste. It was not my mamma's chicken soup but was still delicious.
So so good. Loved the music too. If I were 30 years younger I might have applied for a job at OTK. 😊 My food processor packed up and, very sadly, I can’t make toum anymore until I get a new one. I’ve improvised toum by adding a whole lot of crushed garlic into mayo.

We're so pleased to hear!
Verena has great taste and style. Love her clothes, hair, glasses. Also, obviously, great taste in cooking, too.
Love her!

Such a lovely recipe I can't wait to make it! I love your scarf too, Verena!
My mouth was watering as I watched this. What a good idea for the tomato skins
This was a very nice soup! Just what was needed for a cold February Sunday.
I love watching the both of you cook, as well as the others. I can smell the lovely food!
The music after the shelf reflection really reminds me of Mr. Roger's Neighborhood. Good nostalgia with the cooking :)
Yotam I think you the most wonderful chef love the way you romance the vegetables.
I watch you on master chefs. Carol NY
this recipe looks soooo delicious i am going to try it soon !
that is one of the most delicious soups.. i have to try it... and the toast looks amazing
I’m so glad you didn’t throw the tomato skins out! They’re enhanced by toast, Toum, and olive oil! Did I mention that the soup looks delectable?
I love you all!!

Frozen Parmesan rind is the best! So glad you enjoyed the recipe!
Made this soup 4 times already.
So flavourful!

really relaxed video, fitting the recipe. never had chicken soup with tomato. in it, curious
I always put tomato in my chicken soup. That's what makes it really tasty.
Nice soup!
Yum…totally going to make this
Verne’s, your lip smacking is adorable!
Loved the part where Verena says she feels like a DJ. laughed out loud...
Could this be batch cooked and then frozen? Looks terrific!
Sure, just leave out the pasta.
Question: "Key ingredients to Ottolenghify my food?" Answer: "Yes."
Key ingredients? very well stocked pantry 🤦🏻♂️
neeed more :)
Looks very similar to a Harira soup (the moroccan famous soap). Delicious!
My broth boiled down so much I had just over 1 litre for the rest of the recipe. What to do?
This just means you have a very concentrated stock so add more water and adjust seasoning if needed. Enjoy!
During the video they didn't take out the rind. Would we just leave it in and toss it later?
The rind can definitely be left in and tossed later. Even better, put the cooked rind under the grill, it makes for a delicious, chewy snack.
@@Ottolenghi thanks!
Chef ..if I get a chance ..would love to work with you.
I guess I can make it vegetarian (obv with a veggie stock) also :)
What can I use up instead of celery …..hate celery !
Please, don’t waste anything! What happened to the chicken skin! Can it be gribenes? And there’s always compost.
