Definitely know the pressure of eBay being a side hustle , up at 5am every morning to pack and ship before I leave for work at 7Am . Finding an hour or 2 to list every evening , But as your store grows it gets easier to miss a day listing here and there and maintain sales . But as a side hustle it always makes me content to get that money in the bank every Tuesday . Quality of life has definitely improved .
The side hustle effort is massive. I work a very inflexible 9-5 with a 90 minute commute each way. My store is small so I can pack orders in the evenings and then head to the post office in my lunch break, but I only have Saturdays to thrift, photograph and schedule listings for the week. It means my Saturday each week is a “work day” and even then heaps of thrifts aren’t open on Saturdays so I’m already at a disadvantage. But, nevertheless, I enjoy the challenge for the hustle.
Really appreciate the time and effort you put into your videos Matt, I come away from each one with new knowledge that helps me either out sourcing items or listing/ running my new side hustle.
Totally get where you coming from. We have a full time business retail shop, sells on ebay and other marketplaces as a full time business, have a separate wholesaling business and have a reselling second hand "side hustle". Also manufacturing for main business, doesnt leave much other time, but it pays for time away, holidays and fun things to do, as well as being fun to see what sells.
Thanks for another great video, I'm learning loads mate. I'm glad you made mention about staying consistent and the pressures of having an eBay side hustle. It really is difficult to maintain momentum when you're working 9-5 and juggling family life. I'll keep on going though. Keep up the great work 👍

This series helps a lot as I am a new Ebay part time seller!
how did you boost your seller limit
great video how is Courtney's eBay going? do you have any plans to do a update
It’s worth it
I don't understand why you pay shipping on all your sales. Is it to do selling from Australia vs. America?
I don’t pay shipping the buyer does
nice vid as always 🙂
Great video Matt, a few here in the UK have said sales were slow in January & February, how did you find the start of 2024?
What's the shipping cost on those boots? Would you fold them to fit into a box?
rule 1 live at home ., rule 2 have no responsibility , and sell on ebay ?
Mate you have done this video like 3 times
I’ve done it 6 times? It’s a weekly series? I don’t know where you’re coming from here?
@@TheAussieFlipper the starting eBay from scratch series. You have done it many times.
@@big_mossie don’t watch then - pretty simple
@@TheAussieFlipper I'll still watch and add constructive criticism where needed. No worries
