Ah dang it! When I saw Cinderella, I was legit thinking about the other animated version of Cinderella (the American Film Investment/early Golden Films version one)
I love how the Humpty Dumpty poem/nursey rhyme has so little content that in order to adapt it, they had to turn him into a gold obsessed king. I’ll give it this though, that energy/light being living in the sun is a genuinely impressive effect for something from 1936
I had "A Coach for Cinderella" on a public domain cartoon compilation tape growing up. It cut off immediately after Cinderella smiles at her offscreen car. Personally I'd watch the HELL out of whatever soap opera that the gossipy spiders star in. (Has to be more entertaining than lazily-abridged Goodtimes movies.)
There’s a TIGA animated adaptation of Aladdin. It’s from the studio that dubbed Detective Conan into the Thai Language and which tried to steal off the rights to Ultraman from its rightful owner Tsuburaya pro.
And they could use their TV shows too! "Once upon a time, there was a boy named Jake Long. Then he became a dragon shapeshifter for undisclosed reasons."
I'm a bit at odds here, because this is much the perfect Phelous video. It has all of his signature gags: the looping animation, the line redubbing, the callbacks to previous reviews, the catchphrases, the continuation of a previous-episode gag, even Old Man has a legit part in it... but I know that if I recommended this video to someone they'd be confused as all hell.

I just finished binge watching all the Dingo and “Good”times reviews for the tenth time. Phelan turns unwatchable garbage into bingeable comedy. Brilliant

After enjoying your Goodtimes Beauty and the Beast review for years (my favorite of yours, actually), I actually watched the original movie the other day and was surprised in your review you didn’t call out the Beast’s bullshit at 19:17. Glad to see you set the record straight here!

I can't believe this is where I learnt that "Jam Handy" is a nickname for "Jameson Handy" and not a reminder to keep my preserves in an accessible place.
You actually got Old Man and Wordsworth together again! XD GG Phelan haha
Ever since your Aladdin video, I legit thought they stole that music from the Disney Beauty & The Beast.
"Get the hell out of here, foot fetish gnome." I never knew I needed that phrase in my life, but now it is indispensable.
I just finished binge watching all the Dingo and “Good”times reviews for the tenth time. Phelan turns unwatchable garbage into bingeable comedy. Brilliant
Hope you get the chance to review those Goodtimes versions of "Sinbad" & "Three Musketeers" in full. They are RIFE with awkward animation, bad story pacing, & recognizable voice actors that you can play a few rounds of "I Know That Voice."
Always a pleasure seeing phelous upload new cartoon reviews, they're the perfect thing to binge rewatch while playing switch games
Aladdin wanted a Death Wish, but the Lamp Genie already granted that wish to Charles Bronson.
He also wanted to have The Touch, but the Lamp Genie already granted that wish to Hot Rod. Hence why he aided Megatron in ending Optimus and ended up being the Autobots' "leader".
The crossover we never knew we needed. The Goodtimes universe is expanding.
At this point, your parody of Old Man sounds more correct than the official voice acting.
Another hilarious Phelous video. Just what the doctor ordered for my depression :'D
2:02 Who would have guessed that Pinocchio was actually built by Dr Wily.
Another classic review with "Phelous and the Movies and Wabuu and Old Man and Friends Double 2 Feature".
So Goodtimes really thought they'd make more money if they just cobbled all their cheap cash-ins on one VHS? "Oooookay."
I never tire of Phelous's Old Man jokes.
Gotta love how the Aladdin on the vhs starts not only with narration, but a musical number that plays AT THE SAME TIME
you’ve been my favourite content creator since the very beginning - this was so much fun & you’ve never lost your touch! love OLD MAN!
omg, i've seen that humpty dumpty thing when i was a kid! and it's STILL terrifying!
I had a VHS tape with that Humpty Dumpty cartoon as a kid, and the lighting monster at the end scared the fuck out of 7-year old me.
You should do more public domain cartoons. Most of them are weird as hell!
I remember Carnival of Animals from the Babe coming to vhs promo trailer from some of the Land Before Time video tapes, of course as a kid I never knew the name of the music piece.
"AHH.
SACRED BLUE.
WE ARE FRENCH."
Haven't belly-laughed in a while; thanks for that.
Thanks for helping me remember that Carnival of the Animals with Bugs and Daffy.
After enjoying your Goodtimes Beauty and the Beast review for years (my favorite of yours, actually), I actually watched the original movie the other day and was surprised in your review you didn’t call out the Beast’s bullshit at 19:17. Glad to see you set the record straight here!
Ok so a coach for cinderella wasn't a horrible creepy dream I had as a kid?
Good to know.
Lmao omg I didn't know he was going to review this
It's hardly unheard of for Fleischer cartoons to be full of nightmare fuel, but that Humpty Dumpty was on another level of disgusting.
