Hi. You were very lucky with the weather. We went end of April/early May this year (a few weeks back) and we had a lot of snow from just below Tengbouche and upwards. So the monastery was complete snow and Dingboche, Luboche and onwards was deep in snow. Our day to GorakShep to EBC was clear skies but still full snow cover but most days we hiked in blizzards. That made the trek that bit harder but we felt a huge sense of achievement. Lovely photos and videos in this video. Congratulations.
Thanks for your wishes. Yes we were very lucky. It snowed till few days before our trek & few weeks after ours too. We have a friend in Namche who constantly updated the weather on FB. We kept a close eye on it even though there's not much we could have done. When I went there 5 years ago around the same time weather was dry but cloudy so we couldn't see many peaks. We were so lucky this time. Take care.
Looks interesting and adventurous Gopi, we were told base trekking is harder when compared to annapoorna treck, but video is very positive and motivating to try and enjoy the beauty
