- This young ranching family collides with their family past when they move their cattle to some new lease property. Collins great great grandparents farmed on this same land around 100 years ago and he is excited to be living in a legacy by continuing his family past. If it makes y’all feel any better, one time it took us 5 adults and 3 hours to get a big Hampshire hog into a trailer to take to butcher 😅 and even then it still had to be roped and drug in fighting. Great video y’all!

Coming from an old cattle farmer , you could carry three basic cattle panels, the light weight ones, on the side of your trailer with four post just when you are moving livestock, two for pen and one for a gate. Keep them handy just for this purpose. It is a common practice and just a few minutes to assemble. But you did a good job loading them, I would have given up.😂

Appreciate that advice and info! Need to get some more panels so I don’t have to disassemble my round pin when it’s time to move cattle. Thankfully the lease place we have them on has a corral and chute for loading.

You are right. Watching back at the footage was a good learning opportunity for me. As far as the way I’m dressed, this is what I wear wether it’s 4 or 40.
