What I notice about these small homes is the lack of storage places for linens, cleaning implements (brooms, buckets, vacuums, etc.) coats and random things we use frequently. Having lived in a 1000 Sq ft home with 4 people and 1 bathroom for 14 years, I know just how important these spaces are.
Wow! bravo! Been looking for unique layout on youtube and this will be my very best ever design..love it so much,well I live in a tropical country so outdoor laundry will fit for it and just add mini stove for frying and grilling.

Nice design. Great for tropical area or very temperate climate but not so much in USA. It is adaptable though with minor tweaks! Keep up good work and add storage!!

Beautiful design with some tweaking for my mom. (I guess it's more than just a tweak.)
Laundry Room: Enclose Laundry Room, eliminate windows between Living/Laundry Room wall, add more storage.
Kitchen: Window over kitchen sink & relocate dishwasher.
Master Bedroom: Combine bedroom 1 and 2 into one room -- turn bedroom 2 into luxury Master Bathroom & turn toilet/bath into Master Walk-in Closet; eliminate toilet/bath window; relocate entry door of bedroom 2 into the Master Bedroom by eliminating small closet armoires.
Living/Dining Room: More square footage for the Living Room and less for Dining Room by moving Archway Wall. Change to a regular size Entryway door and eliminate one window in Dining Room and then smaller Archway between Dining Room/Kitchen.
Looking a lot better compared to the ones I saw on utube. A house should be strong enough against strong typhoon, wind, & very bad earthquake!

Looks more like a beach house. Not what I call a farm house. The wood table is like could go in a farm house. Not the chairs.
I'm sorry 😞 but who wants to outside to do laundry. With over 1500 square ft put the laundry inside. The other thing is who put the dishwasher on dining room side instead of the kitchen. No one wants to walk around to put dishes from the kitchen side.👎👎

Maybe those who live the tropics you could have the laundry outside. I live in Wisconsin an it gets mighty 🥶❄️. It's not good when things freeze up.
I so agree with you Christine. Living in a cold winter climate no one would want to go outside to do laundry and the dishwasher facing the dining room is ludicrous. I might add also that there was No Oven included in the kitchen for cooking turkeys and hams at Thanksgiving or Christmas.
but it is a model house, you can alter the design if you will be using their layout, i believe they are just giving out ideas so everyone can picture out what they really want starting from this design if in case they will be building their own house. It's a beautiful house indeed! love the layout and ambience very cozy🥰👏👏
The house plan as shown can be altered to suit your requirements. The laundry can be enclosed with windows and a door. The kitchen layout can be modified so that the dishwasher is in the kitchen. You can always add an oven in the kitchen. Just bear in mind where this house will be built in different parts of the world. You may need more open areas if you are in the topics. You may need more enclosed areas if you are in the colder parts of the world.
