This was super helpful thank you! I’m planning to get my kids supplies to do this as a Christmas gift, they love anything crafty and hands on, we also have a small farm store and they’re always looking for ways they can help, things they can make and sell. Do you have any videos on how you did the other freshies, the wrangler pocket and ball cap?
Love your quick 101 tutorial. I found an answer to a question I was having which was I could not find a silicone mold for a camel. A friend loves camels. I've promised her camels for ages and I have metal die cuts in a variety of camel sizes and styles and two camel cookie cutters too. But no silicone mold for freshies or for resin or wax shapes even. So oh yeah now I know I can use the camel cookie cutters following your technique here. It also opens up bears and moose and other shapes I have cookie cutters for and haven't found any silicone molds of. I wanted a bear just like most of the bears you see but without the word MAMA on it. Now I will have my bear too. And my bison. Thank you. I'd always been led to believe cookie cutters were a no go and stuck. Looks like one can't believe everything ones told. Also love the simplicity of your designs and finished product. Thank you and off to explore a few more advanced tutorials on freshie making. I'm a total novice mind you. But have all the ingredients to get started.
Separate oven isn’t needed and don’t use a convection oven. The air will disperse the beads. You don’t want that. The fragrance doesn’t linger in your oven.

I think using a funnel is more about safety than making a mess. Those beads bounce everywhere. If you have children or pets I suggest using a funnel because you don't want your child/ren or pets eating those beads. Some aroma beads are super clear so you really can't see them when cleaning up. Thx for the video by the way! 🙂

Hi Eva, following you from Scotland! 🏴 I’ve followed all your instructions 4oz to 1oz but my beads are just not drying. It’s been 2 weeks! I ended up baking some wet just to try. It was difficult cause they were so sticky but baked ok however the smell doesn’t fill the car. I’ve used different suppliers of beads and different fragrances. Any suggestions? Thanks x
