Props to Harry for being so consistent with the RUclips videos. Fashion guys like Daniel Simmons or Tim Dessaint hardly post on here anymore so it’s good to see more of Harry’s content. Cheers
It’s because Tim already got 1 million subs and he basically not really into trends. He explain mostly about fashion basics and there isn’t much to show more abt fashion basics
I think a big trend this year could be "Vacation wear" or Gorpcore-inspired, the kind of clothes you'd wear on different types of holidays such as skiing, tropical, hiking, yachting, etc We're already seeing loads of celebrities dressed up as if they're currently on holiday at an exotic location. With the cost of living crisis not easing up anytime soon (particularly here in the UK) many people will resort to looking like they've just come back from holiday
I think that "comfort" is a trend i gladly picked up. As a teenager I was chubby and thick and skinny jeans were the norm so i looked like stuffed salami for most of high school. Now I'm quite fit, but still thick, so same thing. oversized clothing is something I think I'll always wear as it is indeed comfy
I live in a small town in the North of England and up here skinnies are still the go to for the vast majority😅 the baggy jeans look is starting to come in for the tiny amount of more forward thinking females but skinnies and slim fit still rules for 90% of folks... So it's interesting to hear that baggy jeans are done and skinnies are back!! I'll get back to u in 2034 to let u know how we get on😮
I have two tips for buying leather jackets, they're pretty basic and by no means am reinventing the wheel but it always works. 1. Shop at thrift or vintage stores. There are some absolutely amazing leather jackets out there and because they are timeless they are a prime buy from second hand clothing stores. 2. Shop out of season. I'm in Australia and just bought myself a sunflower leather jacket on a 40 degree celsius day. I got it for over 55% off. It fits perfectly, and I mean perfect. The colour is perfect and it feels amazing. Definitely a piece I'm going to be holding on to for a long time. If a piece is timeless then you shouldn't be worried about buying last season's collection. This tip typically applies for the higher end brands.
I think skinny jeans will have a brief moment but won’t have the same lasting power as baggy pants. Comfort wear is here to stay post-covid, and I don’t feel skinny jeans will survive the new landscape (especially considering skinnies only fit a couple different body types). Fitted pants will always have a place tho.
Baggy pants may have peaked in your world but they have only just reached the high street so I think they have a long way to go. I work with young people and one of the boys turned up in brand new baggy jeans and Adidas Sambas, which I assume must have been Christmas presents - he looked very cool and his friends all thought so too. Mind you, if teenagers in Birmingham are wearing something then that might be all you need to know to drop it from your own wardrobe.
I like a good graphic tee and I think you will see a lot more of them. I think it’s harder to make minimalist pieces that stand out though so think it’s actually more work
Matter of opinion. Everyone has a different body type and personal taste. We need to stop villainizing past trends, as everything so far has already been and come back. Back the. people hated in wide legged and baggy, just like you hate on skinny. Instead of having the sheep mentality of baging just because that’s the norm and everyone else is brainwashed to do it too, maybe consider that’s none of your business? No one is forcing you to wear anything you don’t want to. Trends aside, everything goes now days, and having style and be fashionable isn’t the same as being trendy. Trends change constantly. Style and fashion is timeless!
I’ve liked how fashion has gone basically follow what you want and how trends go it’s never truly gonna be out of fashion. My only struggle is finding nice relaxed jeans I don’t want super baggy and I don’t want skinny but can never find the right fit
It seems like a lot of the trends remind me of going to high school in the late 1990’s. I’m interested in seeing if race car apparel starts trending. When I went to college, my first semester (2001) had so many people wearing NASCAR leather jackets. I’d like to see those make a comeback!
Racecar, Formula 1, Motocross, etc type apparel has been big for a couple years. In my opinion I think a lot of people are actually pretty done with that aesthetic.
@@csdrago-creative It might be that its making its way across the atlantic, I've only recently started seeing people wear big f1 jackets and whatnot in the UK and Spain
That Trends are constantly 100% cyclical, is a very contemporary assumption. If that were historically the case, tunics would be back every 20 years. Clothing trends tend to follow general societal trends such as aspirations, fears, thought, and progress. 90s to now has been an era of post-modernist pastiche in almost all arts, but as in many fields post-modernism seems to be leaving space to something new, as the world shoots towards an almost unprecedented state of crisis, my guess is the same will happen in fashion. My prediction is (but I think I may just be parroting something I read somewhere) future fashion trends will be influenced by different visions of the future, either dystopian or utopian.
To be fair though, although tunics per se are not returning, clothing items with that same feel have returned, such as trench and long coats, long cardigans (the techwear type), and so on.
I’ve wanted a racing jacket for a while so I’m ok with it being in - that said, I plan on wearing them for a while regardless of trends so we’ll see if it ages well or not
I’ve always loved leather jackets, bonnet jackets, and suede jackets. I’m glad those are becoming more popular. I love brands like All Saints and John Varvatos.
I don't think baggy jeans have hit there peak yet , considering you can't get mens baggy jeans in high Street shops but you can easily still get super skinny jeans , I think there's at least 2-3 mores before they hit there real peak.
It’s cool to see Allsaints featured in this video; it’s a brand I’ve loved for over 15 years. Every piece I’ve purchased remains timeless, and with a few exceptions, they never go out of style. While the quality has slightly declined since Wil Beedle’s departure and the acquisition, they’ve maintained the rock/punk/edgy touch I appreciate. The addition of more casual pieces helps them stay financially on track. Their jeans are excellent, the Japanese denim jackets are top-notch, and, in my opinion, their leather is the best investment. A (discounted) Allsaints shearling, in my experience, rivals an Acne Studios one. Despite being popular in London and New York (and thus having many haters), outside these cities, it’s underrated and deserves more recognition. Allsaints holds significant importance for me in the premium fashion industry
im moving towards high quality n timeless clothing but i am interested in jackets bcs imo a great jacket can alleviate your outfit drastically compared to other items like pants or sneakers
God I hope slim jeans don’t come back into style. I will not be wearing them. Straight fit/baggy is so damn comfy! Took me 27 years to realize and I refuse to only enjoy it for only a couple years 😂😂
Can't really disagree with any of these! I feel like the whole 'grungy rocker' type thing will be in, as well as people in summer wanting that whole old money vibe. Personally I'm not into either but am very interested to see trends changing :)
Sneaker wise I feel that the original low top black Converse Chuck Taylors will be big this year. They're of course always stylish. Recent years I didn't spot a lot of black ones and especially not low top ones but they could definitely replace a white sneaker. Especially if everything's going more rock'n'roll this year (which I agree with). We will probably also see a lot of boots in warmer weather as well (something similar to Adieu Type 196). Personally I'm looking closely at Saint Laurent this year. Never had any of their pieces but their current lineup is absolutely amazing. Looking forward grabbing a thing or two.
I love Saint Laurent but a lot of their stuff won’t suit me well, unfortunately. The prices are also more than I wanna spend but maybe I’ll add the odd piece from them to my wardrobe one day. 🤟
@@HarryHas I absolutely agree about their pricing. It's very expensive. Although I have a couple of their items on my wish list, realistically I'm only looking at timeless pieces like their double breasted winter overcoat. I prefer slim fit rather than skinny fit jeans especially. Also I like the black and washed out black monochromatic look. Also the football euros are happening in 2024 so all things Adidas 3 stripes will be popular.
Skinny jeans come with skinny hems. Can’t do it not only are they feminine it’s work to take on and off. And they have lower rises which offer little room for your balls

Happy 2024! I concur that punk/hardcore/rock/ metal esthetics will make a comeback in 2024 -- customized (i.e., slightly tapered) 501 in light blue, leather jacket, band shirts, Converse Chucks, Vans Sk8 (both in black), and perhaps the bandana bracelet. That's how we dressed in 1987/88
I haven't deviated from slim/fitted, slightly cropped or cuffed jeans since 🤔....the last time it was en vogue because they suite my frame best. Love the All Saints look.
I’m loving allsaints these days. Wish there was other stores at similar price points to it. There is the Kooples and Sandro but not so keen on them these days
I would really like to see the distressed clothing style of the early 2000s make a comeback. I miss having clothes that already look kind of ruined when I buy them
Great stuff as always Harry, keep up the good work. I think sheer pieces will be incredibly popular this year, as mens have become more and more "accustomed" to this kind of pattern. I'll try to pick one myself. Now, speaking of sneakers, i'm thinking of picking a pair of gray ones, as i got just black and white pairs, but i'd like to know your opinion on loafers, do you think they are gonna be popular?
Happy new year mate, all the best for 2024. Great overview, not into leopard look, neither in racing gear. But regular fitted jeans and chinos are fine. Will have to get me a leather jacket one day, your vid today reminded me about that, thanks 😂🙏🏻 Have a great start into the new week, cheers 👍🏻
I think the Onitsuka Tiger Mexico 66 will replace the Sambas this year. They're a bit more versatile than the Sambas, but fit the same vintage shoe aesthetic
@@HarryHas True. Although I would love to see the black pair get more attention, as seemingly the yellow pair exploded, and not the more vanilla looking colorways!
The sneaker nerds I follow are saying we’ve just had the mesh runner summer. They’re wearing a lot of Salomon’s, saucony, hoka and similar types of runners
When I bout my double rider or double breasted leather jacket, my brother immediately stated “ya know those go out of fashion, right?” Thing is, it’s been in fashion for over 70 YEARS, it’s not going out now
All that you have mentioned are still in my wardrobe… together with my baggy, wide, athleasure clothes. Still wear those looks today. But I still don’t have a leather jacket…
Harry any tips on dressing well in warmer weathers? I there’s basically only winter and summer where I live and I’ve gotten better with the winter fits but something about shorts doesn’t satisfy me in the summer
On Running shoes for slim shoe athleisure. Vans for affordable sneakers coming back on trend considering a decent amount of celebs like Harry, the Olsens, & Gigi being spotted in them.
Haha nah you don’t wanna do that. You should wear what you like regardless of trends. If you aren’t wearing something, give it to someone who will wear it.
I recently bought an A-2 inspired leather jacket by Beams Plus. Probably the most expensive thing i ever bought for a clothing. Though compared to really old ones, it was much cheaper so i bought it. It was about 800 bucks. The real original ones like Buzz Ricksons costs about 2000 dollars or so. But lately ive been watching a lot of leather channels in Japan. Schott and vansons look really good too. But A-2 jackets are what i like looking at these days. It is a still a little chilly to wear it but i have been wearing it a lot to break it in.
slim and skinny jeans are definitely coming back. My husband prefers a relaxed fit and he had a really hard time finding a pair of jeans recently. I don't think sneakers as such are going away, but we will definitely move away from the Samba style. I think Asics and retro sneakers will be more popular than they already are. Also loafers I think will be more in the spotlight than the last couple of years. Slim ankle boots to go along with the slim jeans are a must IMO so we will be seeing those more.
Harry, I respect your opinion but I think you were completely off your rocker on this video. 2010's can't come back less than a decade after they passed when 60's, 70's and 80's styles haven't re-entered the spotlight. Supreme is just less cringe than it was but not a trend. Its best accent is sneaker culture which is on the decline (not dead). It doesn't make sense for it to re-emerge over other brands. Sheer no but loose knit/lace yes. Nail polish can't enter popularity until nail care has been normalised for men. Leopard print is outlandish and for only brief glimpses has been popular in the past. As for poker dots, I still can't disassociate it from something my grandfather would wear and I haven't seen it done tastefully in a long time. I think your biggest spotlights were leather jackets and grunge. I see grunge being an offshoot of opium core and leather jackets have been overdue a re-emergence for a long time! Wish you the best but could not get around these predictions. It's all respect in disagreement
Was just at a 2nd hand shop today and overheard a guy with his group of friends complaining about not wanting to go anywhere else because his feet hurt. I look down and him and EVERY single one of his friends had on Sambas. 🤦🏻♂️ Had a pair over a decade ago. They look great, but I’ll NEVER buy them again because of how uncomfortable they are. I’d rather buy Chucks over and over again than buy a pair of Sambas lol
My parents taught me since a child to not chase a trend, because its always cyclical. One of the best advice ever
Great advice!
Once you start chasing trends you'll never be satisfied! Good advice!
Yes, good advice. I enjoy and appreciate trends but I wouldn’t wanna be chasing them

Thanks mate. Have a great week yourself 🤟
Supreme Making a Comeback. Me gobbling up Supreme hats at a discount in 2022-2023
I think the Onitsuka Tiger Mexico 66 will replace the Sambas this year. They're a bit more versatile than the Sambas, but fit the same vintage shoe aesthetic
Could be. I think it’s brief popularity last year may make it difficult though. We will have to wait and see
@@HarryHas True.
I have seen four people with the RED BULL Racing Leather jacket in the past 2 months.
I'm happy about making cardigans great again.
Pretty good vid 👍🏿. I'm not sure that Leopard and cow prints are ever really in style or on trend. They're always just kinda "there".
You've got a nice accent dude. Your voice trails off in a unique way.
2:32 STRAYKIDS 🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩
those wallet chains are always popular in Japan decades from now
Wake up Babe! New Harry Has video just dropped
🙏🙏🙏
Skinny pants, Rocker Style/Indie Sleazy is all of 2010. I've heard people talk about it since one year ago.
Bicker and Racing jackets are cool.
Don’t throw things out- I kept hold of my straight fit and regular fit jeans all through the skinny fad and now I love wearing them again.
I think that sneakers in dark colors will be getting more trendy
Thank god the baggy pants trend is dying😂
Regarding 2010 fashion. What about v neck shirts. I remember that was trendy back then. Don’t see it anywhere nowadays.
When I bout my double rider or double breasted leather jacket, my brother immediately stated “ya know those go out of fashion, right?” Thing is, it’s been in fashion for over 70 YEARS, it’s not going out now
I think football shirts and any adidas trainers will be popular this year due to the Euros in Paris.
I get to wear my dirt bike jerseys out ? Nice.
All that you have mentioned are still in my wardrobe… together with my baggy, wide, athleasure clothes. Still wear those looks today. But I still don’t have a leather jacket…
I don’t have a leather jacket yet. I’ve seen a lot I like for others but not the perfect one for me yet
I hope skinny jeans will be trending this year or maybe next year
My grandmother used to love leopard print
Harry any tips on dressing well in warmer weathers? I there’s basically only winter and summer where I live and I’ve gotten better with the winter fits but something about shorts doesn’t satisfy me in the summer
I think I’ll stick to my array of hoodies combats and foam new balance trainers ! Thanks for info 😅
On Running shoes for slim shoe athleisure. Vans for affordable sneakers coming back on trend considering a decent amount of celebs like Harry, the Olsens, & Gigi being spotted in them.
My all-time favorite sneakers are some Gola mesh ones that I’ve had for years.
If anything, this video proves it's a waste of time chucking your clothes away considering they'd be back in style before you realise it.
Haha nah you don’t wanna do that. You should wear what you like regardless of trends. If you aren’t wearing something, give it to someone who will wear it.
Agree with the Supreme take. Noticed it popped up in a music video that dropped yesterday by 21 Savage.
Seems like it’s just me and you at the moment with that take. I still stand by it! Think it will catch on fast when it does
I recently bought an A-2 inspired leather jacket by Beams Plus.
I remember when Racing jackets and long sleeves were hot years ago. Fabolous was wearing the jackets made by Vanson
slim and skinny jeans are definitely coming back.
I prefer Gazelles and Handball Spezials to Sambas. It's a no brainer for me, because they look better and they're more comfortable.
such a good video! i think you nailed it
Thanks a lot dude
Funny thing is, before this video even uploaded, i already wishlist almost items that you've been include in this video.
Whatever the trend, you can't go wrong with quality basics, a Detroit jacket and some converse. Think that'll do me.
🤟
Timeless > Trends
our legacy workshop shirt! looking so good
Thanks bro
Looking forward to the return of slimmer fitting pants! The rock aesthetic/pocket chains seemed to be quite popular in 2017-2018 aswell.
Slim/skinny jeans was always the way to go.
Great video, thanks mate!
