For a future episode, I would suggest best weightless senko/fluke rod. Mostly because I “need” a new one.

@@joshroberts5611 a wee bit above my budget. Looking closer to the under 300 category but could be stretched a bit.

It is the JDM version of Shimano Expride 264M+ with Vanford 2500S, I have tried everything, other rods are heavier and too long compared to the 264M+ (only 87g), other reels are heavier than Vanford (unless you upgrade to Vanquish), the combo is extremely light and Extremely Balanced!

Great video! Loved that you didn’t pick the Expride 6’10” medium or the P5 oneten stick or special.
Like to hear your thought on spinning options

Man blasphemy that the Megabass Oneten stick wasnt a choice here lol. I’ve owned about every “jerkbait” style rod on the market above $300 at one point and the one ten stick and even the Oneten special are the best on the market imo. To your statement of the rod not recovering fast enough that’s exactly why Megabass made the 110 special. But fishing is a highly subjective sport. Tight Lines enjoyed the vid.

Trust me it was very tough not putting the oneten stick as our top choice.. but the new x10 is a phenomenal rod and we decided to go with something brand new for the viewers to take a look at!

@@Americanlegacyfishing completely agree! The X10 series makes it incredibly hard to purchase another P5 lol. The X10s are extremely well engineered rods!

although 110 stick is a beautiful rod and people are swayed to think that's the ultimate rod because it's a megabass rod made for one of the best JB out there. The stick is really good for 1/2oz and up. The action is a little too fast imo for a JB that has really light wires. A true ultimate JB rod should be 3/8-3/4 with the 1/2 oz being the sweet spot. Even the Levante line, which is suppose to be a bit softer is still too fast for real JB fishing

Fenwick world class is the best I've ever had And still use. Megabass makes a nice one too

Fenwick's new lineup of rods are great! Massive step up from the last generations!
