My mom died last year around Mother’s Day. Growing up, I remember listening to Duran Duran’s wedding album and hearing this song all the time. I loved it then, and I still love it today. Today would be my mom’s birthday. She absolutely loved your music, Adam. There wasn’t a song she disliked of yours! This made me cry this morning because it’s like it’s a present from her. It reminds me of the good times and it is also something I could picture her loving so much. I appreciate this remake. It may take a while for me to not cry when I hear it because I’m forever going to think about my mom when I hear it, but I will cherish this for years to come!

Being a Duranie for decades, I've never been thrilled when another singer tries to cover their songs... but this arrangement and Adam's vocals are insanely spectacular. I've loved and respected Adam and his talent since his run on Idol. Imo, there's nobody else whose vocal abilities come close to equalling the acrobatics of Freddie Mercury's, so that Brian and Roger can continue playing live shows full of crackling energy. Adam aces this amazing cover by giving it the care it deserves and, of course, displaying his killer pipes from start to finish. How fortunate are we to be alive at the same time as Adam? I am pre-ordering his album!
Marc Martel (queen tribute band from queen extravaganza) has freddie's voice but no stage presence. Adam Lambert is a brilliant singer and oozes charisma! Combine the 2 and freddie would be reborn!

I'm not usually a fan of covers, but Adam is one of the few artists that can not only pull it off, but improve it. His voice seems to enter your ears, travel through your spine and radiate through your fingertips. We are all blessed to be able to hear such a heavenly sound.

When he sang that in the final of "American Idol", I knew immediately that I would follow what he does for the rest of my life. Talent like his is a once-in-a- generation thing.

But to Adams credit he really makes covers sound like an entirely different song altogether and some even better than the OG. I know this sounds mean but right now I am actually hopin he'd do covers of songs by some recent (less deserving) Grammy winners ..and have their fans regreting their choices as he transforms their crap into gold. Have you kept up with him lately? He’s everywhere, doing countless performances and appearances. His solo career has always been an important priority and he stays insanely busy in it. I haven’t seen another artist who is invited and in demand for as much work as Adam. No less than 50 projects, performances, appearances and solo concerts in less than a year. Adam Lambert doesn’t need Queen, Queen needs him. No worries, when Queen ends, Adam Lambert will be just fine. Btw, High Drama made Billboards Top 10 in album sales.

"Ordinary World" is a song that I hold near and dear to my heart. I get very defensive whenever someone attempts to cover it. I say attempt because they step up to the plate and they strike out. This is the first cover that I have ever heard that actually moved me. The arrangement is superb and Adam's vocal delivery is one of his best. Way to go dude! You stepped up to the plate and you knocked it out of the damn park!

To cover a song by them it would need to be something bloody special and along comes my favourite solo artist ( by a long shot) He has done me ( and many other Durannies) very very proud. I also wanted to add that this song took on a new meaning for me recently. My lovely Dad passed away 8 weeks ago. It's only 2 weeks since his funeral. I would listen to the original song and it was about Dad. For Adam, my other HUGE favourite artist to cover it so beautifully it honestly feels like a personal gift has been sent from somewhere far away. I know not everyone will get what I mean. But believe me it's all good. I cannot thank you enough Adam for bringing this into our lives again with such tenderness. So so special.

I often used to say how much of a dream it would be for you to sing a Duran Duran song. Like my biggest dream come true.

I'm a tough critic when it comes to Duran Duran but this is truly STUNNING. It shows off to those who have only seen you belt things out, how you can also sing with such tenderness and your voice is just like silk.

A few that have their own opinion of Adam being someone with nowhere near the experience and talent that he has. I was putting them right!!!! I know I am a die hard Durannie but I am for Adam too. I get that we all have ou own tastes etc. but when they don't know how much Adam has done over the last 13 years I feel it is my duty to educate them :-) Oh he's just a bloke from a talent show, not a valid artist. Are you kidding me?! Anyway - nice to connect with you :-) What is your favourite Duran song then? Do you have one? My all time favourite is Save a Prayer. Bloody love Future Past too, that song had me in tears for the first few times I listened to it.

Adam Lambert will perform his High Drama Album June 13 in Israel. I'll never forget him singing Song of Peace in Hebrew during a tribute for a deceased PM, prior to his 2009 AIS8 stint.
So obsessed with this angelic, beautiful and soft sound and song. It's not that the original wasn't good. But this is on another level ❤
