  • The last 2 weeks have been so much italic work, I wanted to take a break from it and do some continuous writing in another script.
This nib refused to work and I threw it away immediately after writing this but it helped me to slow down even more than normal and I could feel the tension of so much structured Italic draining away.
This is a blend of my Copperplate and historical English Roundhand forms.
    Nib - Gillott 303
    Ink - Pelikan 4001 Black
    Paper - Layout Paper 45gsm
    Xheight - 6mm

The more I see you writing with the pointed flexible nib, the more I want to learn from you! Thank you for sharing!

Keep practising. I didn’t wake up one day and was able to do this. This script takes a lot of time both writing and looking at the writing. Don’t give up!

I love watching you write too . I’ve just started learning copperplate, and most of what has gotten me started is your videos and manuals. I’m amazed by the speed and smoothness with which you write and almost magically the line take shape from a hairline to a swell and back to fine with no hesitation or perceivable changes.
    I love it

Really like the way you write and most satisfying thing is the sound of nib. Gillot 303 always gives you that satisfaction. You also said in one of the workshops that you were in talks with makers of the Gillot 303 nib about few concerns raised for the nib. So is that sorted out and are these nibs with new changes?

I believe they are still working on it. Glad you like the writing.

Yes. I like your writing style and your writing. I have also attended your Mumbai workshop. It was really good and enriching experience. Main thing is that I started using Straight pen holder instead of oblique pen holder for copperplate script after your advice in the workshop
