Copperplate Script Alphabet

It has been a long time since I uploaded a video to RUclips. Still only in my temporary studio. Moving into the final one in March.
Just thought I would share this video of me writing my 1:1:1 ratio Copperplate with a Gillott303 and adding in some flourishing to show how much ink stays on the nib. The xheight is 6mm.
Ink is Monteverde Ink called Joy. Penstaff is from Chris Yoke

I used this script a lot as an engraver...we call it "Palace Script" in Germany

This is not Palace Script. That is a very different proportion to this. This is my own script based on a specific set of geometric properties I invented.

Nope. All letters using and indirect approach have a direct approach too (18th c terminology for how the letters are formed)

Though I’m having some difficulty on the letter 'E'. Mine is always too round. (This is also the case with my 'C's)
