If you are talking about the Fan on the back of the Washer/Dryer combo. You would remove the fan. If you keep the Fan on, it becomes a ventless Unit. We opted to Vent as it gets the clothes dryer faster and you do not have to mess with remembering to dump the water out of the unit.
Safety glasses should be first on the list. Having a pet cycle sounds good but I am not sure it can fit my 90-pound pit in there, and even if he did fit, I am not sure he would be willing.

You are a good teacher and have good graphics on your video but I would have used a mask and goggles when drilling with that hole saw, at least the dust wasn't getting blown into your face..
