The people changed so much though. People who were nursed from their mothers as babies are protected from surgery as they already have small noses, straight teeth, good jaw alignment unlike those of us fed via a bottle *groan *!! Nowadays most people in Britain were bottlefed save for the babies of health conscious mums and the people over 70!!
