Growing up in Greenmeadows in late 60’s to late 70’s a lad called Johnnie Jones lived there (with his family)before the lake was dug out. The road past the farm to the lake was merely a dirt track. The original bridge where you cross the reen was demolished as it was unsuitable for JCB’s to pass (90 degree bend)and extremely old, a new one built to soften out the bend and the reens were widened. In those days we called it Hendre Lane and my parents told me Greenmeadows was originally Hendre Fach.
