I know my channel is not about English language, but if I don't know about the mistakes I make, how would I fix them? One day I'll hire an editor, until then - you're my editors, thank you! 😊
Yuh good Irena ……Reh geh Is a proper patois sound but please please please NOT REH-GAY🙀 …… the last 3 letters is frowned upon in Jamaican culture 🤫🤫🤫🤫🤫
If I were like you ,I would not be even worrying about pronunciation First of all , I am sure your objective, was to tell the story of Jamaica and how they became a brand , it was not about English grammar! If you live in the UK , AMERICA or CANADA their official language is English and all 3 pronounce the same words differently , even spell some word differently , for instance America spell check and the UK cheque , favor - favour , color - colour , just to name a few ! Who’s to say which one is right and which one is wrong because both country think they are right so girl don’t even worry about it ,just tell your stories , we get it and understand fine what you saying ! 😊❤️
Outstanding job. You said you are a foreigner but make no mistake what you have done for this country thus far make you a daughter of the soil . As a Jamaican I am proud to call you family. Nuff respect
You weirdos!!! When original Jamaicans do this, there is no praise, plus it's a shame that most Jamaicans don't take the time to learn about their people an their culture, allowing these people to come and EXPLOIT Jamaica, Jamaicans, to make huge profits. NOTHING has changed. You mentally enslaved people. SMH. All this woman did was PICK UP a book and scour the web for info, put it together and TELL you people about your country, making a HUGE profit. Like they say, if you want to hide something from black people, put it in a BOOK!!! Too many DUNCE people on this video.
I am sure you do!!! Just like how Jamaicans armoured up to go fight for the Queen back in the day, while allowing their people to live in squalor. No love or defense for their people who live and suffer in the inequal society of Jamaica, where most average Jamaican make barely $80 U.S per week, while a decent home cost between $500 U.S per month for a barely equiped small place to over $2,000 U.S per month for a decent place. You all are too busy engaging in applauding everyone who looks nothing like you. If a dark skin Jamaican made this SAME video, the views would be limited and praises small.
Thank you, thank you, so much Irine for helping the Jamaican students retrieving their transcripts. You make me feel so proud to be a Jamaican all over again. And thank you for choosing Jamaica to reside in. You are now a honorary Jamaican 🇯🇲.
The world has no skin colors because God created only human beings. And Irina is one of those people who don't see colors but only humans. I was very sad when I saw the police in Ukraine treating African students inhumanly yes. But in fact, good people are not lacking. I am from Angola and I have lived in Germany for thirty years and I have German nationality and I have done everything and a lot working in Caritas to help users who arrived here in my city of wurzburg-Bayer in distributing clothes for them.
Thank you so much Irina taking the time to assist these students retrieve their documents from Ukraine. I watched the 3 hr documentary and was moved to tears as I listened to each student give us a peek into their journey from a normal day to day student life to the uprooting of their lives and paths to get back to Jamaica. Thank you for everything you do to help bring awareness and education. Thank you and One Love 🇯🇲🇺🇦
Irina, you are the best. On behalf of those students and the Jamaican people I want to say thanks for your kindness and bravery and willingness in that you helped those students to retrieve their transcript and documents again thanks may God continue to bless you and your family stay sweet!
Thank you Ministry's of Foreign Affairs and Trade Jamaica for your support of Irina in her journey to Ukraine to retrieve documents and transcripts for students who fled.
As Jamaicans we cannot thank you enough for your kindness in helping the Jamaican students retrieve their documents while putting your life in danger to do so. Also thanks for making this positive video telling the story about Jamaica and Jamaicans to the world. You are an ambassador indeed as stated in one of your comments below by onlinegenie. Looking forward to your next video. ✌
I don't usually comment on videos but I was moved to do so after watching this video. Excellent tribute to Jamaica 60th celebrations. However, your trip to Ukraine on behalf of the students is remarkable. On behalf of all Jamaicans, I thank you
Irina, you are an amazing woman and I am proud to be one of your patrons. Your trip to Ukraine deserves a vlog of its own. You are calling Jamaica a brand, well you my friend are a brand ambassador. Thank you!
So pleased that you mentioned Merlin Otty or is it Otti? Not sure? I recalled how Jamaicans here in the UK, cheered her on. She hardly ever gets a mention anymore, which is sad. Thank you Irina, I enjoyed this video. Good to see you back home.

Absolutely, and there will be a separate episode on this. With the "60 years of independence" videos the focus is on what has been achieved during the years of independence, which is from 1962 to 2022.
@@Roses-Are-Simply-Beautiful I agree with you. I did an independent study on Marcus Garvey in college in the US and what a tremendous discovery it was for me. I was so proud but depressed at the same time that Garveyism is not promoted more by Jamaica’s education system

I love this woman deeply and I’ve never met her. Every single post to this channel makes her even more special. I plan to comment on what I think was the greatest achievements in the last 60 years, however the trip to Ukraine 🇺🇦 to collect those documents for people you never knew is just beyond amazing. Literally risking your life to do this words can’t explain how meaningful this is. ❤
I have been thinking of what made you assimilate so well in Jamaica. I came to the conclusion ,that your country share ,somewhat similar history to Jamaica. Meaning your were colonized by Russia.
You did an awesome thing, Irina, in getting the transcripts for the Jamaican students. As I have said before, it was a selfless thing to have done. I hope everyone of those students have personally thanked you...including, the Government of Jamaica.
