I prefer longer videos like these, I feel like i get more drawn into the adventure! The shorter videos were good also, but for videos like this I felt like they get cut just as I was getting into it. Great video, and a great adventure you did here!
The whole story about gravel adventure in one video is what is needed! Forest's parts are gravel paradise indeed! Thanks Jasper for this cool adventure! 💪🤙
Another awesome video, Jasper! Love it when you do these trips, it’s like the perfect advert for getting on the bike and exploring, highlighting the very best of cycling; the freedom, the adventure, the drama, creating memories and the occasional not so good moment! All part of the experience though. As always, great footage taken during the ride / trip and top production of the video too. Well done. The story of the trip definitely works well, being presented all in the same video. And it was good to see you riding with Joris once again. Brings back memories of your epic cycling trip together in the south of France those years ago, and that outstanding / adrenaline pumping decent of Mont Ventoux.
Very Nice Trails! These trails like that one at 17:31 is exactly why in Gravel kilometers, avg speed and even altitude are meaningless. You have so much resistance from the ground, especially when it's wet that even a ride that is under 50km will need way more watts than a 100km ride on roads.
4 of 5 days were routes from Erwin Sikkens? Love to see you riding in my area (Apeldoorn / Kroondomeinen). Didn't ride the full green devide yet, but did the middle part once backwards on 33mm (Apeldoorn - Rhenen). Furthermore, i've rode most of the tracks between Apeldoorn and Zwolle ofcourse. It looked like a very nice and heavy adventure. Man, 700 k's on the heaviest surfaces in 5 days. Respect.
No only 2 (the 300km of the green divide). The routes in Limburg and back to Eindhoven I made on the go. The kroondomeinen Route I got from a friend. All of them where super nice!
Hey Jasper i feel you with the wheel thing i did a rear wheel on the mtb one stick as thick as my thumb destroyed half the wheel followed by a 35 km run/walk in carbon shoes , cool adventure fun to watch 👍👍
None, all you might come across in this area are foxes, roe deer and wild swine. Those are all afraid of human and will run. Also the wolf has been spotted again the last four years after a long period of none, but there are still only like four pairs of them in The Netherlands.
Great video, thanks! I like both options but maybe a bit more the long version for the full trip! One question, what's the name of the song in the beginning? Thanks again
Hi Jasper, nice Video again. The loop you did in Maastricht is there an official route? It looked awesome would like to ride it myself in spring :) would be awesone to get some GPX from it. Keep going on with your cycling adventures :)
@@jasperverkuijl I tried already before writing here but as there is no search option for other riders and I only see the last 5 activities this was not possible, so I hoped you might remember as it was some well known route. same as the green devide. Thanks anyway.

Definitely longer videos, imo.

Great video Jasper, works really well as a single, longer, video showing the whole adventure 🤙

Not a great fan of off-road but thoroughly enjoyed this. I can be persuaded. Thanks Jasper
The road is good training for off-road- which is where the magic happens;)
Or the other way around haha
You will.love the rolling speed of the 29inch wheels. Let me know when you are in South Africa 🇿🇦 and i will take you on a ride with one 😉
The actual difference of a large gravel 28” tyre mounted on the same size rim as a 29”er isn’t that big ;)
Both tires are 29” so I don’t know what you guys mean haha.
Sounds good man!!
Just curious JV, if you had/have any wildlife concerns to be aware of and if so, what kind??

@@MisterG00 Cool… thank you… I often wonder when he’s on these rides… I’d be dressed like Rambo… 🤣🤣🤣😆🍻
We spotted quite a few deer (like Bambi size, cute and all) some birds and a small (harmless) snake.
So not the crazy stuff you think about 😂😂
Did you look into Orbit 360 Routes for your next gravel adventure already? Would love to watch those
Not yet. Looks cool!
Great video, thanks! I like both options but maybe a bit more the long version for the full trip! One question, what's the name of the song in the beginning? Thanks again
I use (paid) music from epidemic sound. Don’t know the name of the song now but you can check the website
Is that a Cannondale CAAD12 with gravel tyres? If so what size tyres?
Caadx (cyclo cross bike)
Cool adventure :)
Nice video!!

Hi guys great video. Unfortunately at the Maastricht part (Savelsbos) you have used (for bikes) forbidden trails. Stick to the gravel code 😊
Mooie beelden!
I prefer multiple videos with around 10 mins each.
Nice “ lil’ “ adventure! ✌️😅
Small country big adventure!
I liked the video thankyou. Just a thought. Why did you not ride with a deul suspension mtb. Would have been a lot more comfortable and safer.
Safer? No why? It’s complete overkill on trails like this.
The gravel bike is ideal.
Hey Jasper, are you coming for KOM taiwan?
No don’t think so. Is taiwan open for tourism again?
Thanks!
Gpx Op m’n Strava 👌🏻
Where is the haute route video ? 😬
In the flashdrive!!
Boy did I miss you!!!! hahahahah

You're lucky your spokes broke. Mine didn't and I ended up in hospital with a dislocated collarbone!
Yeah I think something has to break, it it’s not the bike it’s your face.
Sorry to hear that man.
Are ya from netherlands
Yep he is
