How to modify a Pittsburg 12 in. Ratcheting Bar Clamp/Spreader

This is a quick little hack on how to modify a Pittsburg/Harbor Freight 12 in. Ratcheting Bar Clamp/Spreader to fix the bowing/flexing of the side plastic pieces. It will most likely work on any of that series of clamp that is of the same design.
