In the culinary school, I am taking baking in, the students of the culinary class and of the baking class have to take 1 class of the other course, so baking for culinary and culinary for baking. the culinary students do much worse in their class than the baking students, and the chefs that teach them are traumatized with what they have seen those students do
That whole challenge was full of some wonky/questionable dessert choices. It was more shocking that they thought they did BETTER than how they actually did. That judge wasn’t being hard on them, they just brought some terrible desserts up to a dessert specialist 🤦♂️

This is a fun fact for everyone. In the culinary school, I am taking baking in, the students of the culinary class and of the baking class have to take 1 class of the other course, so baking for culinary and culinary for baking. the culinary students do much worse in their class than the baking students, and the chefs that teach them are traumatized with what they have seen those students do

That whole challenge was full of some wonky/questionable dessert choices. It was more shocking that they thought they did BETTER than how they actually did. That judge wasn’t being hard on them, they just brought some terrible desserts up to a dessert specialist 🤦♂️

i will never understand why so few of the chefs in this show can make desserts. i don’t expect martha stewart level perfection, but you’re telling me you can’t make a halfway decent dessert in an hour?

Obviously you didn't hear the TIME they had to make the them. Creme Brulee takes way over an hour if you do it right. Prep is barely any.
