I love watching your videos Martin... I always learn something and get new ideas for my own PDR work. Your explanations are so clear and concise, and there's no wasted time or nonsense in your videos, just pure expertise everytime! Cheers from NC, USA 🙋♂️
Hi Mitchell thank you for your kind words. I’m not too good at talking nonsense while I’m trying to fix a customers car especially on camera! But I love to offer any help and tips from what I’ve picked up in the past because we’re always learning even the simplest things can trigger your brain and that’s all that matters. I hope your busy, and safe from all the storms And hope you have a great Christmas
Hi Alaskan thank you!!! That’s awesome to hear and I’m very happy it’s good content to binge watch! Please let me know what you think about the other videos Thanks Martin
Hi Dennis yea it was quite a surprise lol I’m just glad it didn’t crack the paint. Really enjoyed the repair and making the video! Plenty of out takes!!
Martin where are you? waiting for your videos!! Im learning PDR and your videos are so clear and help me much more than other technicians, is also rare to find someone using the line board as I do 😁.
Hi Alessandro thanks m you do much for your comment. I’m really trying to find a suitable job to video but I’ve had too many ugly jobs or jobs that I haven’t had time to film. Getting another video out to you is my priority trust me. Is there anything you’d like to see? Thanks Martin
@@dentremover01 Hi Martin, thank you for your reply, i really like how you structure your jobs and your videos and I like your style, everyone work differently but i feel really close to your (same rods, tools, line board etc). I've been trained by Mike toledo and started to work PDR 5 months ago, it's an extremely hard to learn thing, and even with my immense patience sometimes i have days "NO", and really, watch your videos i see where I want to be one day. I have no specific requests, just see a master in action (possibly for 20+min 😂) Thanks again Martin, you have a wonderful day
Hi John, wow thanks that’s great to know I can help out in any way. I think when you see other techs working you can pick up tips etc which is always a great thing. Thanks for watching and enjoy the video All the best, Martin
Hey thanks for your kind words. I try my best to show as much detail as possible and yes it takes a while to do the repair while filming!! Thanks Martin
Hi Kevin sorry for the wait. I started off with fog but then a Pdr tech gave me a line board and I stuck with it ever since. I still use fog if I repair hail or large dents but I prefer lines to finish off! how about you?
Awesome work and beautiful presentation! I love your crown knock down with leather tip ! Did you make it your self ? The fender pliers is pretty cool too , I've never seen those with such a cool adjustable legs , what brand is it? Thanks
Hi Igor thanks for your kind words, the knock down is called a Cro Carb knock down and I’m not sure you can buy them anymore. The pliers are from B&D tools and there’s 3 types. The one I used in the video is the version 3 and probably the best to have for fender/wing repairs If you want door edge ones then the V1 or edge pliers are the ones to have All the best for 2022 Martin
Once you have the tools this repair is all labor & a few hours for you, I have a body shop just the base coat and clear would be around $300.00 us and two or three days
Hi Walt. Thanks for your comment, yes that’s right if you look at it like that. As your a bodyshop owner like me you can understand that it’s not just free money and that one job contributes to rent, electric, tools, insurance, advertising, wages and the list goes on not to mention the 1000’s spent on training and the years taken to get to this stage. The price of paint for you does cost quite a bit, and then you also need to add a labour cost so you can make a profit. We are there to repair peoples cars and ultimately make a profit for us to progress
Спасибо, достойный урок!

Great video Martin, really useful showing how the you work out the price for the labour and repair too.
Hi Graham thanks for your comment. Pricing the repair is part of the job and I think it should be shown more often 😊

Nice work. Where can i sold this mobile pdr light with strips?
Hi Dominik the light is called an Elim A Dent and you can buy it from Anson tools in the 🇺🇸 and Keco Uk in 🇬🇧
Hope this helps
Thanks Martin
@@dentremover01 thanks
So Martin , you prefer line board over “Fog “ why is that? Curious? Thanks for your time 👍
