I love him
I adopted him one year ago today for... I don't want to say "therapy" reasons but, really that was a big reason why. I was about to undergo some changes in my life and knew before starting that I was going to need a source of comfort and something to do to keep me grounded. That ended up being taking care of Bea. I never could have anticipated how important Bea would be to me in my life though.

He started as a VERY cute kitten and ended up a stunning young adult cat....that coat is gorgeous and he is very playful and funny XD

I lost my Maine coin mix in feburary she was 15 yrs old looks just like him she was given to me 5 yrs ago when her owners didn't want a old cat their loss n my gain
Sorry for you, your cat had a long life though. In Northeast Pennsylvania there are a lot of feral Maine Coon kittens. I can recommend a rescue if and when you want.

I'm sorry for your loss! I had a Maine Coon cat named Hey. My family had Hey from May 2005 until he passed away in December 2018 (almost a year ago). He was 13 and a half years old when he passed away.

I too own a Maine Coon. He is the finest companion I could have asked for and at 13 years young, he is still super playful and energetic.
We adopted two Maine Coons when they were about 4 weeks old. We fostered them and then fell in love with them both. They are siblings and our male is short haired while his sister is long haired similar to this cat. Both are 8 years old now and they are the best. The male is laid back and chill while the female is outgoing and not chill. Great cats and wonderful companions.

I’m a sixty year old taxi driver, ex soldier, I boxed in the army, the spirt was there but not the skill or the timing, I played rugby & loved the game, but I was just hopeless. I am a battered pug faced wreck & after a stressful day I come home & watch RUclips videos about dogs & cats, this one chilled me right out. Lovely. I’d love a cat like that. (I love the one I’ve got)

Thank you for this. Bea looks just like my Maggie. I got her when she was very tiny like Bea and has the same markings, beautiful face, and fluffy coat with stripes. Maggie had more orange in her coat. She too was what got me through many tough times. We had 16 years together. Sadly, she passed this last December. She is and will always be one of the best things of my life!

I just ran into this wonderful video by chance. I'm a big "cat lady" so Bea just bowled me right over! Especially because I once had one very much like him... I called him Aerr Aerr, after the sound he would make. He was striped and floofy and had ear tufts and blue eyes. This was back in the '90s. This video brought back a lot of sweet memories of him. How is Bea doing now? I would love to see a recent picture or video...I will check your twitter feed. 🐈

That playful tiny kitty can still clearly be seen in the face of the adult cat he grew to be.
It's really nice to know that having your kitty close by was helpful for you when you needed that help most.

I'm getting a Maine Coon mix tomorrow. He's with the rescue organization now. I had a Maine Coon cat that passed away, and I had to get the mix. After seeing Bea I'm excited to think my little guy will be as playful. I'm very happy for you. 🖕😊🌼🌻🌼

Bea is completely adorable. Maine Coons are my favorites. I only got to have one as a kitten as all the rest were older rescues.
I had a beauty named Sophie who went with me through an extreme life transition that actually lasted several years. Needless to say, my bond with her was light years above all others. I still miss her.

He's beautiful! He must be a very big boy by now. My wife and I have two Ragamuffin cats and they bring so much joy to our lives. We had hoped to have kids but it didn't work out and these two guys have become our children. I know for me at least they have been a great means of therapy and really help me through things.

All of mine were adult rescues. Among them is a Maine Coon who'd been dumped. She has issues but I allow her her space. She accepts affection on her terms and I respect that. Saw her on PetFinder, told the ones who had her that I had to have THAT cat! My angel, I love her to pieces! Please don't overlook the older cats, they appreciate being chosen!

I love cats but this breed in particular spoiled me. They are just so friendly and peaceful. Truly a work of art in the feline kingdom. I feel equally about Pit-Bulls. They are an absolutely remarkable and exceptional canine breed. Both are the representation of "Gentle Giants."

My sister found a kitten in a parking lot a few weeks back and I’ve been taking care of the baby. I’m almost 100% sure she’s a Maine Coon kitten or at least mixed with one. She is the most precious thing ever and I just love her so much. Can’t think of a name though.
