Don’t you just love when family give’s away grandma’s cheesy mugs!! Sometimes I wonder how all grandma’s vintage plastic & shiny brite’s ends up at the thrift store!! I invested in the extra large anthropology candle. It lasts me all year and definitely worth it for me. I leave it on the counter and even without it burning, it makes my whole apartment smell amazing!!!
Which scent did you get? I have the large spiced cider one and it’s lasting me forever!

I have a blow mold pumpkin with a hissing cat on it. It is from my memmre when she passed. I'm sure it's from the 1970’s or 80's. It still lights up. Those candles look scrumptious!! And I love the wicker witches hat! Thanks!!

Great show of your Halloween, fall items....love that purple/plum velvety ribbon...my plan this fall to add a purple and possibly a splash deep teal color somewhere within my fall decor, how?.. don't know yet, I have a ripped strip of red velveteen fabric I had left over from a Christmas project years ago, every year I simply tie it around here and there on things it looks great, vintage in it's tattered condition, so simple but looks great, this year maybe purple velveteen fabric rip it into strips and waa-laa it's vintage....or not if I can find purple ribbon with the look I want. Kristen, I have a quick question: You grow dahlias and I was wondering if you have to dig up the bulbs each fall and store them over the winter in a cool, dry place. I keep hearing that this must be done and it's keeping me from growing them. Also, are they hard to grow? Fairly low maintenance? They, along with peonies, are my favorite flowers and yours are stunning each year!
Hi! Yes I do have to lift mine where I live. If you live in a warmer climate, such as the southern half of the United States or a more temperate climate that doesn’t have harsh winters, you might not need to. I just threw the tubers in a paper bag in the garage and then potted them back up in April indoors to get a head start. I lost quite a few in storage though. There’s many different methods to storing them, it definitely gets complicated. I think if I was just growing a handful of plants, I’d let them go during the winter and repurchase them again for spring. I found awesome bags of them at Costco for $15 this year which included 6 clumps that I was able to split further. I think they are so worth the $15 purchase every year. Since I’m growing 50+ of them, it’s not affordable to let them go over the winter so I will be digging them up. They are probably the most finicky flower that I grow, BUT they are worth it! They are such show stoppers. I took them to market this weekend and people couldn’t stop commenting on how amazing they were. If you don't want to show your home, when you record change the angles so you only capture the big guys when you got them out together. Also hunny you could blur your background so that your skeleton and scarecrow are the ones in focus. I hope this helps, great Haul I just seen your video in my feed . I accidentally sprayed A LOT of the coconut setting spray from ELF and I think that’s what’s making my skin look nice here lol other than that I just use maybelline fit me concealer, elf eyebrow pencil, too faced chocolate bronzer, Laura mercier blush, nyx liquid liner and maybelline lash sensational mascara!

Honestly, I was nervous it wouldn’t be worth it, but it was My greatest joy last season to have the 12 pumpkin skeleton and to see all the neighborhood kids take pics with it and wave at it from the school bus lol hopefully he says yes 🤞

We picked up quite a few after season last year so there will quite a few new additions out if the the weather cooperates. I can only imagine how insane your decorating options are this year! I don’t care what other people think. I have several fall items year round. I also don’t necessarily want my house decorated for fall or Halloween the entire year no matter how much I love those seasons.
