- Here Im riding a 10'6 and so is the guy that jumps off his board that you will see to the right of me. I bailed my board right before it barreled over me. I was able to make it through the lip before detonating. You will see how big the barrel is.

Such idiots on here. A 40-50’ face does not mean a 40 second hold down; and certainly not where he bailed and dove under. 10 sec makes sense at the spot he bailed and dove deep. Also, GoPro at that angle makes everything look tiny. This is Todos, and everyone that knows the spot and where they are sitting relative to lighthouse knows it’s a big day. That said, it may not be 50’ face, impossible to tell at that angle, but it’s certainly not less than 25-35’ on the face and could be more. Again GoPro very deceiving at that angle. There’s a video of guy (think at Puerto) and shows GoPro angle then same shot from Beach and looks impossible to anyone unfamiliar with GoPro angle. First of all, the GoPro always makes it look smaller, second of all it is Todos Santos (where 50ft wave do break at certain swells), last be not least look at the board size this dude is riding (10'6, that's a board for giant waves my friends), and last of all look at the wave that past just before he got caught inside, look at his face ( the face you pull when you know you are f****** but still have hope x) and look at that backwash afterwards. Bottom of the line is you are cooks and this is some pretty heavy stuff !

No, not 50 feet -- 12' face at best. We can see in the previous set wave (6 feet from behind), plus a 50-footer has a 20-40 second hold-down time, and you were up in 5 seconds.
My advice next time would be to be more realistic / honest and you won't get the sh*t beat out of you in the comments section.
That said, much props for even being out at Todos in cold, sharky water... most YT wannabes would be scared sh*tless out there... :)
