Definitely redo the first ones on road. My Kraton 6S EXB V2 with the included speed pinion does 71 mph on road. I forget what it was with the stock pinion, something like 60mph. All stock electronics and tires etc.
I'm hoping you have the funds to get the new Traxxas Jato 4x4. I'm hoping for it to throw a huge spanner in the works. Despite how ghastly expensive it is, I like it.

We were surprised by the 6S Kraton's slow speed -perhaps the original owner had changed the gearing?

We'll see how much the price is here in the UK. If the VXL (3S) version is under £500 we might consider it...
