I like how the second card can be interpreted differently but I like to think it's: "Home or Traveler." As if it was a choice, but I like to intepret the cards like it was referring to one of the same thing than two different things. "Home or Traveler." The home you found as a traveler, the home you found that's with the traveler (Artagan), the home you found in a traveler. The Traveler, Jester Lavorre.
I have found tarot cards to be pretty good at playing D&D, when a new player joined our campaign sometime ago, she brought a PC that did tarot (also a divination wizard), also using a tarot in real life, she correctly got another PC's backstory AND exactly where her backstory was heading to. I was hyped as the DM since I had told absolutely no one about her future, good times
i mean obviously you can make any card work if you know the traget, but it is still cool that the dice gave jester such good cards to work with. dice magic :)
As a party reader, yes if you know the target it can be pretty easy. Also keep it vague in you don't. I never charge for my readings. Im just that nerd that brings cards to a party. That being said her cards were good, thank the dice. I do wheel of the year reads and got the oddest news from a friend who I did a read for at the end of last year. Her November cards read legal action would be taken. She is taking her ex to court for non-support of their son and her court date is set for November. It's a bit freaky sometimes.
someone else commented this but like... sofia i cannot believe that you hit us with dang "I See The Lights" YOU DID NOT HAVE TO MAKE ME FEEL THESE FEELINGS
I liked this moment very muchly, mostly so when she said the card for his future was "Home/the Traveller", and Jester is the traveller now, basically, Jester is his home. Great moment of RP.
Thank you youtube. It's the right time to recommend me this video, after what happened in the latest episode. I'm even tearing up a bit. I love Fjord's character so so much, Travis is truly an ispiration for any young man such as myself
I don't know if it was luck or what, but given context of Fjord's hopes for the future during his talk with Beau makes it all the reading all the more fitting (even if it does seem Laura was making up the symbolism as she was going along) also, as I side note, was I the only one expecting Sofia to cut to a certain confrontation during Grog's One-Shot involving a half-orc, a blue woman, and a baby?
Look at the two completely different futures both characters want. These tarot cards are designed by Jester, so they speak to her wants. She wants a home, a stable place to be. Fjord on the other hand is wanderlust personified. He loves the ocean, he wants to keep moving and exploring. Settling down goes against his nature. He'll, his Oath of the Open Sea is being on the Ocean, exploring it and protecting it. That is a fun thing to think about.
Yeah, I think Laura got too excited on her part because she didn't ask Travis which angle of the picture on that card he pulled like he did on the first one. I think that in turn made it come across that Jester got too excited and ignored the angle of the card as well
Laura had waaaaaaayyyyy too much fun seducing her husband in a D&D game. It's delightful.
I wanted to like this, but is at 69
And she has succeeded in her endeavor
You just had to add "I See The Lights"
Eric Falcon SHE IS HES NEW DREAM
@@sofiamarlasca8715 okay now I’m gonna cry, especially after the most recent ep
OMFG They're freaking Flynn Rider and Rapunzel. How did I not really put that together before? Lol
Warlock Half Orc Flynn Rider and Trickster Cleric Tiefling Rapunzel
Not is definitely the horse in that movie. Totally annoyed with Flynn but loves Rapunzel. Lol.
Going from thinking that fortune telling stuff is not real to believing Jester is a prophet by watching one video. Thanks.
And it ends up with Fjord asking Jester to live together in their own place.
Well played, Laura Bailey. Well played.

It took me way too long to subscribe to you and this was the tipping point.
Thank you for feeding the Fjorester community so well for so long.

Majinism YOU KNOW WHAT I did not think of that but it could have been such a great way to close the video... dammit lol
@@sofiamarlasca8715 don't feel too bad, it didn't realize Travis was referencing them in that one-shot until I saw the comments
NOOOOO! You had to add the music from “Now I See the Light!”
My heart can take the adorableness!
so good, and also perfect music choice Sofia 😉💚💙
All tarot readings done by Jester have been 100% accurate! (At least Fjord's and Lucien's have been, I forget if there were more)
MOLLY KNEW THINGS, MOLLY KNEW THINGS!
My heart is full.
This makes me so happy
Watched it after the last episode and it looks like this all happened for Fjord and Jester. imma cry
Sehanine bless you.
141 SPOILERS:
also on “there’s a cozy home waiting for you” and in 141 he says “or we could get our own place”
I haven't seen these scenes but...aww..
I see the light playing omg the Rapunzel and Flynn parallelsz
Cozy home? Could it mean a Lavish Chateau?
