Almost speechless. Need to listen twice more at least, pray and ponder. The concepts are also brought out in “Supernatural Ways of Royalty” by Bill Johnson and Kurt Vallotton, which I benefitted from a great deal. Honoring one another with intention is a holy thing, very pleasing to God.
What a great summary of our series. I too watched Tim Keller’s funeral and it was his character that was spoken of by family and friends. Thanks John for leading us so lovingly through this great series.
This is an incredible teaching. I have never thought of myself or anyone else for that matter in this light. It's awe inspiring and terrifying at the same time. We have a huge responsibility towards ourselves and our neighbours. Change. This is mind blowing stuff. John, thank you to both you and Tim for all the hard work you put into this. good morning ☀️ 😮Deep for a Monday morning, in my youth, whenever I didn’t want to compromise ~I reasoned that it went against “my principles”. Nothing holy about it/me back them. Finally, in 2016, I sought peace, chose God, and found the peace through his word and amazing grace. His miracles & wonders never ceases and I know the change I need and know my struggles. Not easy but oh so worth the efforts, His peace my glory. Lord God, bless them and change me, in Jesus name 🙏🏻💕🍃
I am a 22 year old and often I feel the tensions of wanting my character to be in a way better place than it is, and this whole series has been such a comfort for the soul and an encouragement to keep on pressing into the hard work. my pastor says "the hard work is the heart work." Philippians 1:6
Another great series! I keep thinking I will go back and dig deeper and allow more life change. But then the next series is just as impactful:)!! I can’t identify which lesson from the series is dealing with the character strength Perspective. Any help? Thanks John and Tim and team. I’m so grateful for your leadership and help on the journey!
This is an old broadcast, but the Lord knew I needed to hear it today. Today we host our annual block party. This is my extrovert husband’s brain child! ☺️ I’m friendly and can make conversation with anyone, but I’m actually an introvert and I tend to approach these things with an attitude of “I can’t wait until this is over!” 😏 After listening to this, I am prayerfully entering into “bearing the weight of my neighbors glory”. Thank you. Jesus knew I needed this today.
Let’s teach from the truth. The truth is found in the Bible. Guide, teach, and live by what Jesus Christ tells us and back it up by quoting scripture. Jesus rebuked the church of Laodicea, calling their deeds “lukewarm.” We to can stay lukewarm because we choose a family or friend who we prefer to help when you know it is wrong. You have not given any impact to your subject matter. You do not quote Jesus Christ rather than Lewis. 😂❤😂❤😢
