Hi Ellie! Inistioge is so lovely. I know you guys enjoyed Greg's campsite in Graiguenamanagh too (another lovely spot). The only thing I didn't love about this trail was how a few locals left their garden gates open midway through the trail and I had a number of rather angry dogs come running out. Do you remember this? They didn't get too close but a barking dog in a quiet country lane would give anyone a fright :p
Hey Derek! I guess we were lucky on this one - I only have one memory of some less than friendly dogs on this specific trail. But yeah, it can be really scary - we’ve certainly had a few encounters over the years that left us shaken. Sorry to hear you had more run ins than we did! - ellie
It admittedly wasn’t one of our favourites, but it had nice moments - like you said, Nine Stones, the waterfall we found, and all the towns were nice! ☺️
