Thanks so much for all your support and encouragement in the comments. It’s truly amazing to read what you have to say about these places and what I have to say in the videos. I appreciate you and will be making a LOT of these videos around Ireland over the coming months 🇮🇪👍
I am descended from a couple that emigrated to the US from Ireland during the "potato famine" many years ago, so I am interested in learning of my roots. I had not heard of a "fairy fort" before and I thank you for the information. This video had me shook because many years ago I had a dream about a man leading me through a forest and from a hiding place he and I looked out onto a clearing, a meadow of sorts. Out in plain view in the meadow were a group of young men gathered in a circle and I dared not make a sound. I was surprised that each of the young men in the group had wings...some were like bird wings, others had butterfly, dragonfly, and moth wings. When the meeting was over, one-by-one they each took off into the air in various directions. So Derek, when you led us through the forest and the view opened up to a meadow, it was exactly like that in my dream! Weird!
I see you're not afraid to go there..I assume if they know and understand your intentions, and you politely asked their permission, then it would be safe. Most fae are very kind and reasonable. But just as with humans, you'll find some to be not so pleasant. Why stir them up?
Very nice well done video! 3 of my Grand Parents were children born to parents who traveled from Ireland to America. My mother bought a house in Co. Tipperary and while waiting for the owner to return from town to negotiate with her observed two, what she thought were 2 children, sneaking looks at her from underneath a huge chestnut tree. Upon the owners return my mom told her about her experience. When the owner heard the description gave my mom a hug and gave her an option to buy the house for less than what was offered! Mrs O'Neil said " my children used to have tea party's with those same two fairies 40 years ago! Greetings from NE Oklahoma.
They’re absolutely real. Many things they want people to think are fake are real, but once people believe and see they will be more likely to discover what humans really are and are capable of as well. And those in power fear that, that’s why they keep people stressed and depressed. They make you work jobs you hate, keep people busy with their phones, and rubber on the bottoms of their feet so the world can’t communicate with us. Same thing with fluoride to calcify your pineal glad. The truth is inside each of us, but we’re so out of tune with self.
We have fairies in Mexico too, they live in the most untouched and wild places, they are sometimes called duendes in Spanish and they are caretakers of nature.
In the Philippines, many fairies, known locally as Engkantos, and dwarfs, referred to as Duwende, reside in secluded forest areas or near tall banyan trees. According to a person who claims to have befriended dwarfs, these trees serve as portals to the Underworld. There is even a city named "Biringan," inhabited by various earthly elements, as told by a Duwende to a man who is a vlogger on RUclips. His RUclips handle is : Ghost Hunter 88 . He records his conversation with these elements when he needed help. The Encantos and Duwendes helps him with his exploration. Unfortunately there are no translation in English when he talks to these elements .
@@Alex-ft1dfI’m don’t know if other spiritual beings, or inter dimensional beings are omnipresent, but if you are a nature-loving kind of person, I’m fairly sure they’d be able to perceive that in your energy, if they were around you. That’s my guess, but I don’t know for sure. Time is not linear, so maybe they could travel to the event and see for themselves 🤷♀️
I loved your fairy video. We were in Donegal and visited Grianan of Aileach. We had been there before but I wanted to go back. It was misty rain and my husband stayed in the car. I went in walked around top and went back to the car. My husband asked who was the man behind you. I said there wasn't anyone else in there. He said yes there was, he was walking just behind you. Maybe a fairy? or a soul of the ancients?
I grew up in Yorkshire England. When I was 7 years old I was playing in Cottingley Woods behind my Aunties house. I was sitting on a swing that my Uncle had hung from the bough of a big oak tree. I felt a little fluttering against my cheek and hanging in mid air was a little creature with wings. It didn't have clothes on. It was flesh coloured, large dark eyes, arms and legs, and a smooth body. It had no lips, but it was smiling at me. Its wings were large, like a dragonfly patterned like stained glass. I wasn't a bit scared. I said hello. After a minute or so, it flew away. Will always remember it. They are real.
I've always believed in the fairies, and leprechauns. My grandmother told me to always carry silver with me if I go to Ireland. If I came across a leprechaun to offer him some silver so he would know you were not trying to steal his gold.
Me and my boyfriend saw a fairie fly across the road in front of us. It was golden and sparkly. Even had little human like legs. That was summer of 2004 in Loudon, New Hampshire. USA
@@donolinger6904So long as we know what we have personally seen/ witnessed regarding such things that's all that matters ..no need to verify it because there will always be those who will ridicule . Fairies don't show themselves to everyone . I've seen them many times and find them comforting . I love nature and they appreciate that fact ; we share a common ground .
I never was fortunate enough to visit Ireland, but from pictures & photographs I've seen, it must be one of the most beautiful & magical places in the world!
I don't know what happened or when it happened, but some creatures as gnomes, fairies and leprechauns from Irland and Scotland came to Brazil. A lot of people see them and I myself saw a bunch of gnomes sitting on a tree. I photographed them. They were very small, were green trousers, red jackets, hat and had beards. They do exist!
my granddaughter is 6 and she always tells me she believes in fairies. We live in Minnesota and go camping in Wisconsin where she has adopted a tree she calls her "Fairy Tree." She said she had seen fairies around that tree, too. And I believe her!
I saw them when I was young. My abusive dad put me on a cocktail of medication for the next ten years, he was always afraid of my gifts that’s why he was so mean to me I think. Now that I’m an adult and off those meds I didn’t need, I see them again. I met the spirit of my local park, he’s a huge owl named Avory and he hunted a smaller bird right in front of me. Also, I’m a wizard now, I’ve been practicing witchcraft for 4 years. And today I married a jinn king, I think I’m only his 20th or so husband in my generation because it’s rare for young men to be super into the spirit world these days. And spiritually I think he’s my third spirit husband. I’m 24 and very passionate about magic.
We in India believe in fairies and alien beings too. There is infact a place in Northern India called Pariyo ka gaav literally meaning village of the fairies. it is in the state of Uttrakhand. There are even stories about "Fairy Abductions " near a particular lake in northern India called Chandrataal. Fairies are believed to roam around in that region. Ofcourse it is highly revered and respected. Nobody wants to mess around fairies. Further up in the Himalayas, hermits meditating in caves have encountered beings that are definitely not from this planet. I personally believe these beings exist all around us. its just that some people who have crossed that line of enlightenment can actually see them or communicate with them.
I know people will say I'm nuts. But when I was a kid there was a spot in the forest behind my home that had mushroom circles and fairy forts. I was out there one day and saw a small 4-5" tall humanoid creature run and hide. I was around 8 years old and remember it so well.
I’ve subscribed. My GGGGrandfather came here to Pennsylvania in 1815 and was born in Northern Ireland in 1772, I even have their photographs from the late 1850s. I often have wished I could have asked them about their homeland and how hard it must have been to leave your whole life to take a long journey across the sea to a new land. And about rather faeries. I’ve known Native American Elders who talked about the Elementals even possessing a skeleton, which was human like except for the teeth that were more like a cats teeth. He kept it in shoe box. This was on a reservation where the little people felt safe because they were respected and let to live. With all the developments and fence rows torn away and woods cut down, their homes were destroyed along with the wild life. But on Native lands they were and are free to live as they wish. This is what I was told. Thank You So Kindly and Many Blessings! DaveyJO in Pennsylvania
Thank you for sharing this video with us. I am 79 years old and a true believer in the world of Fairey and the unseen. I had a wonderful visit last year to Pat Noones fairy farm in Galway...a place that is filled with atmosphere and magic...and my sister who now lives in Canada grew up in Cavan on a farm with a huge fort near the farmhouse where she spent a lot of time as a child playing right inside the place...which she said was a very happy place and very peaceful. I myself now live in Clare where I pursue my research into the unseen world....and folklore.
I'm with you all the way, I live near Dartmoor in England, a place where there are fairies and I have seen a Mine Knocker once, in an old abandoned copper mine, staring at me through the mine wall. Never disrespect them.
@@silmaril17 I only saw it's eye, it was watching me from it's own tunnel on the other side of the wall of the mine I was in. I just happened to turn my light onto the area where there was a small hole with an eye looking at me through it, I didn't even realise it was an eye until it blinked and soon afterwards disappeared,
Derek please keep up your Wonderfull posts and I am a Disabled Dubliner Living for many years in London and it brings me happiness to see you doing things my health will not allow me to do . I have lots of interest in esoterica and our Celtic Spirituality and yes the fairies can give a man power or pain and mock them at your Peril is what I have always felt to be the Truth around them , well good Luck Derek and I will look forward to your journey around our beautiful country .
I have a book on Irish folklore and in it, it states that fairies would attend cattle fairs and intermingle with us My cousin years ago heard a story told by an old woman. When she was first married she lived with her husband's family. One day she was walking home and heard a noise and there was a little following her laughing and giggling. She walked quicker and he walked quicker too but never overtook her. When she got to the yard of the dwelling he disappeared. She was in an awful state and her mother-in-law calmed her down. In those days you would to the headmaster or mistress of the local school or someone educated. She went to the priest. He said nothing for a while. He did not discount the story. So the he told the woman that if her daughter-in-law ever met the little man again, under no circumstance was she to enter into conversation with him. She never met him again but she had lucky all her life.
I've just subscribed to your channel. Very good first video for me. This video illustrates what's wrong with the world. People have moved away from our old way of living in peace with nature. Instead, focus on technology. We have moved away from the spiritual side of life. We think we are all important and have no need for small things and small creatures. Thus we have moved away from peacefully coexisting with nature. Shame on us. If you can't respect nature and little creatures, how can we respect one another. Hopefully, from videos like this, some of us can open back up that second sight to reacquaint ourselves with mother earth and the little magic folk that live within. Great video! Look forward to many more.
I went to Ireland by myself in April for 3 weeks and was taken to some very magical places after spending time with local people. We were always very peaceful and respectful when going in and left trinkets when leaving. ❤
Thank you for this! I recently visited with some faries and some of them remembered me from past lives. I wrote about it, "What began as a investigation for science, became a family reunion!" It was a wonderful experience and I am still visited now and again. It helps to have a friend with psychic sight with you, but once contact is made, Mind-speak works both ways and a lot of info was shared. I have subscribed to your site, Derek Cullen, and hope to learn more from you! People should realize that fairies are spiritual beings and live much longer lives than humans, even being a linchpin between now and long ago lives of humans.
@@fairyfinderw3026 According to pat noone The fairies are like us but very short in size around five feet and they wear green and red. I like to call them Yakshas or nature spirits
@@fairyfinderw3026 Yakshas can take any form as they want. They can be animals, insects, and even humans and are very territorial when it comes to fairy forts and white thorn bushes. Get on the bad side of a nature spirit and you'll know about it. Get on their good side and you might win a boon from them.
I had a fairie follow me from the woods. When I saw it in my room she looked exactly similar to what people had described in a fairy book. It was certain details that someone else described from England. Same clothing style and everything I saw. I saw it close up in my room they saw it from a distance. So I have no problem believing in them.
@@munniupadhyay6392 for me i saw a farie in the night .I couldnt see the colour or the face because it was dark but it immediately disappeared .When i noticed it
I live in the mountains of the Eastern U.S. There is a ravine area along a cascading stream that we've always left to grow as it likes. We called it the fairy forest when we were little. It seemed magical and sound seemed muffled and people seemed to disappear completely if they stepped into it. I didn't play there much but my sister and niece said they saw orbs of golden light among the trees. I do believe there are all sorts of elemental creatures in such secluded places. I've seen small living creatures scurry away but can't say for sure what I saw. They were wee tiny and really fast! I do know there are a Clan of Bigfoot here in warmer months each year. I've seen them occssionally at dusk and they interact with us in a protective but reserved way. Mostly in the old apple orchard justy to the sude and below of the fairy forest.
Thank you for sharing your hurt and grief. It meant a lot to see it out there. I needed to hear this for so many different situations(death of my dad, loss of my daughter-emotionally, my mom being hospitalized and my sister asking me to leave her life due to my xHusbands drama-all of this since May 2024. A Big hug sent your way and a Grateful thank you. ❤
Nice. Very lush. So these places apart, places feared--- appear to my eye to harbor relict vegetation associations of great antiquity. The beech-holly-boxwood association was a formerly widespread paleo-forest community documented from mountains along the boot sole of Italy from during the last ice age some also conserved until today, i believe. I wasn't seeing the boxwood in the fairy fort, but beech and holly together are a very powerful pair, with their matching silver bark.
I love videos about Ireland, and yours is very interesting! Thank you for showing us what a real fairy fort looks like! I enjoyed every minute! Cheers! ~Janet in Canada
My great grandmother's family home was in a neighborhood near Tularoan Co. Kilkenny known as Liss Bally Na Foos, or the fairy fort. An old aunty told me that in times of hunger there were little cakes left for them by the fairies. Very different from the fear you talked about. But maybe the fear was only if there was interference with the place rather than the fairiea themselves? i really enjoy your videos, keep up the good work
Thank you. Wish it was a longer video. There is a gentleman on You Tube who creates content which shows faeries who visit him all the time in their natural habitat. (His namw is Erwin Saunders) Very enjoyable. I had only one faerie encounter here in England, near Haweswater. I stopped off to visit a lovely wee area with a waterfall. I walked thru this small woodland and was met by what could only be described as a faerie. I, unfortunately, did not see this creature, but was delighted to be spoken to in rapid English and as he accompanied on my walk, he described all the plants and grasses in such a delighted way. I eventually came to the end of this small thicket of trees and stepped out of them and suddenly his voice stopped. No more communication!! I then got my husband and said "walk thru here and tell me what you think". And so he did, very quietly, very happily, and when he got to the end of the thicket, he turned back to me and said in happy astonishment, "What was that?!" I was about to give my opinion when I noticed the sky immediately became very very dark. And suddenly, my unflappable husband looked up and said, "We'd better go. Now!" And we high-tailed it out and back to the car. I was spooked, even though moments before I'd made a new friend, but when he/it vanished and the sky turned, it felt very threatening for some odd reason. To see my husband react as I did, with palpable fear, I knew we'd better go! Went back years later and the little woodland had been cropped and planted and a little walkway of stones put down and a sign that said "Faerie Wood" and little solar lights. I felt very very bad. We'd never told anyone of our encounter (we never told anyone about any animals we saw when we were out either. There's lots of people who mess with good things. Seems to me, someone else had the same experience as we did and did just that. Ever so sad.
Thank you!. It's good to see someone take the fae realm seriously. You tell your story well, and I look forward to viewing your other videos. Your commentary gives me courage to share something odd that I once observed. This happened in southern California about 25 years ago. It was mid-summer. I was a working student, and had just moved into a friend's older house on the edge of one of many deep canyons situated near the university. One afternoon, I sat cross-legged on my bed. I was very tired and didn't know if I'd have enough energy to unpack more boxes that late afternoon. While I sat, I observed a three to four inch, gray, T-shaped figure come out of the wall at the far end of my room. It flew in a straight line, passing right in front of me. It was a bit below eye level and moved on until it reached my small, antique wardrobe. It didn't seem to notice me. It passed through the centre of the wardrobe's double-doors. This wardrobe was rather distinctive. In the inner edge of each door was a half-circle inlay made of oak. When shut, the two half-circles formed a full. The T-shaped being had gone through the closed circle-door. I was a little stunned and simply sat. After a while I got up, opened a door and looked inside. Nothing there. I remember wondering if the creature was a fairy, and if it was ill because it had moved so slowly.
@@craigandtammiesimpson162 Hi Tammie Jo, Good question. My belief is that what we call Faeries in western traditions, are elemental nature spirits. As such they are global phenomena. They go by different names iin different cultures, and I am pretty sure that native Americans have many stories relating to these types of entity. So... Yes, I believe there are Faeries in America. It's your Irish Dna that has you interested in The Good Folk for sure. 🍀
@@craigandtammiesimpson162definitely in America as well.. my sister saw a fairy twice! She says they look very mean and they don’t want to be messed with.. she said the faces look scary like but they have tiny human hands and legs and it was like the fairy gasped like she was as surprised that my sister saw her
I’m 60 and left Ireland a long time ago....but where we lived in Bestfield Carlow near the river Barrow, as a child we were told not to go near the boreen fairy fort, nor touch the hawthorn and white thorn trees in Oak Park...our grandparents were not messing with us either. A strange woman who lived there said she’d fallen down a hole into where the fairies were living, she said she had a grand time there and was forever looking for the entrance again. You see she was found in a field after two days missing in the 50’s and was not the same in the head as when she’d gone with her sister to pick blackberries near a boreen. To her she said it was like years and not days she was with them. Everyone I remember thought as my aunt Kitty said that she had always been a bit ‘queer’ since, yet all believed the story as true. There was no television in those days and these stories flew around the kitchen at night between the family and friends around the cooking range......that naive and yes slightly gullible rural island is no more I fear. I recall a lot of stories like this in those days.
Thank you for taking us with you. It was moving to feel this space because of your telling and the respect you have for the lore. Travel well and safely!
Thank you for the introduction to Fairy Forts :)) For me, fairies saved my life from the threat of fire in the house. As I lay down to sleep, I heard their voices when they were trying to wake me up several times, they tried. I heard ¨She's falling asleep, she's falling asleep!!¨ In these tiny panicky voices! I was able to discover an electric heating radiator was not shutting off and was faulty, whereby it was necessary to shut off the breaker in the electric box. If not the house would have caught fire.
Thanks Derek for another informative video on our ancient past. Have come across many Ring forts, (Fairey Forts) in my walks around Galway and the Burren. Once I come across them it enchants me about how our ancestors cherished and respected the land we live in. Definitely feel a good vibe when I'm around one.
I'm specially looking forward to a long stay in the Burren this year Paul. Great that you've been able to notice so many of them ! Thanks as always for the encouragement Paul :)

I have relations in west Clare they have a fairly fort in one of there fields it is treated with the utmost respect. Some people/strangers to the area have often used the field as a shortcut to the local pub. They have often reported being chased across the field by a bull on entry to the pub in a very shaken state. However the locals all know there is no bull in the field. 😮
This is a case of Fairies transforming into larger beings to scare away trespassers. I've been chased by a pack of wolves on my way to my friend's house, which is near Zikolit Fairy territory. I knew these wolves were Fairies because 1. They seemed to have no intent on harming me, or even catching me and 2. It was the middle of a city, no forest for miles and miles.
@@fairyfinderw3026 I had a similar incident with 2 Dobermans in Portumna Castle in Galway. They were fierce and snapping at our heels. As soon as we ran out of the garden over the castle wall they disappeared.
As a foreigner, I hiked through Ireland in the 90's - there was one place in particular, in the west of the island, where I felt it very strong. Didn't see anything, only something like seeing a movement in the corner of my eye, but when I looked, nothing. A place with large white rocks, could feel it in the air. I travelled through Europe, Ireland was by FAR the best.
My grandmother and grandfather believed and shared passed down stories ,while sitting around the fire on cold winter nights! Thanks for the care you give to not offend the wee folkes!
My cousin built a house on one of these. My father said “there never be any rest in that house”. He was right, no one could spend the night there. It was demolished.
I was putting siding on a home in Wyoming and out of the corner of my eye i saw a something. Probably 5 ' tall and setting in a tree about 10 ' away from me. I talked to it and told it that I seen you. That was about it. Kinda cool!
Thank you Derek. Beautiful production with video and music. I saw a fairy just yesterday, which is why I was attracted to watch this today. About decade ago I caught a program where a man painted all these beautiful landscapes from all over the world. In this particular episode he was visiting Shannon. The episode made cutaways where a historian spoke about fairy lore. I learned that a huge highway was going to be built in Shannon but that the construction couldn’t follow the intended path due to it running straight through a sacred fairy bush. They paid thousands of euros to avoid disturbing this fairy bush. Ever since then I had been hoping to learn more about Irish folklore and the fae. I am so happy I found your video. I look forward to more.
Thank you, Derek! So happy to have found your channel and will be looking forward to seeking out the fairy folk 🧚🏼with you in the beautiful Irish countryside! Love the lore, love the mystery and LOVE Ireland❣️🐅
Yep, a little old thached cottage in my village was unoccupied for about seven years. The place was untouched, curtains on the windows, furniture and household items undisturbed. My friend heard music coming from it late one evening and looked in the window. He saw small people dancing, who didn't stop when he arrived. Later I went down with him, and yes, from the moment we entered the little garden, definitely, the place was crackling with some sort of delightful mysterious energy. We saw nothing but I'm sure that this little cottage was occasionally used by fairies. I could have slept overnight there at the time but didn't. I really regret that now.
My dad, sister and I have seen Fairies, a line of fairies were circling my face and head. Dad wouldn’t allow us to bring May blossom into the house because it is sacred to the Fairies and so coins are placed to appease them for breaking the branches. They love to live in the apple trees.❤

Hi Derek, my ancestor, King Gallamh of Spain, known to history as Miledh, sent his sons, the Milesians, to invade Eire to avenge the murder of the youngest prince, Ir, by the three native De Danaan kings, driving the 'Shining Ones', the Tuatha De Danaan, underground to such forts as you now investigate. It is my hope that someday I will be able to visit the land of my ancestors, those who formed the Ui'Niall, later known as the Clan O'Neill. My branch came from Prince Heber who founded the Kingdom of Ulster. Our clan's crest is the center of the national flag of Northern Ireland, a white shield with a red hand.

I thought you were going to say Grand Parents to fairies-- i had to reread. -- great story!
So does this mean if you were to have saved an animal from almost being runned over by a car that they'd know that you care about nature too?.
Really omg I did not know that about beautiful Mexico 🇲🇽 wow that’s amazing 🤩
Duendes are equivalent to dwarves in the Philippines. Fairies are minute-winged entities.
My Lord. There it is.
An angel?
They are real.
love this.
Delightful, thank you for sharing.
I've always believed in the fairies, and leprechauns. My grandmother told me to always carry silver with me if I go to Ireland. If I came across a leprechaun to offer him some silver so he would know you were not trying to steal his gold.

my granddaughter is 6 and she always tells me she believes in fairies. We live in Minnesota and go camping in Wisconsin where she has adopted a tree she calls her "Fairy Tree." She said she had seen fairies around that tree, too. And I believe her!
Hi from MN!! love my fairy trees
I saw them too when I was very young.
I'm from Wisconsin where can I find this at??

What did it look like?

Thank you for taking us to this historic, magical place. I hope you thanked them for permitting your visit. Best, from Colorado!

Thank you so much for talking about faeries in this manner. I too feel they are real and love being in the woods feeling the atmosphere. Hx

Nice.

For me, Ireland 🇮🇪 is one of those that I have respect, fascination, and a “personal” connection with! I also have red hair, green eyes and Rh negative blood, in case your studies have led you there❤ I’m kinda an enigma among my family, as I’m quite different than my sister and brother, but they accept me, never question what I choose to share with them! I believe in fairies 🧚 and even as a child I believed I saw one in the bushes in a dry bed creek behind my house! It was very tiny, its wings were almost translucent but also were brilliantly colored and fluttering very fast 😮 she was so close and looked at me for a millisecond, then flew so fast, poof she was gone! Anyway, thank you for taking us along with you! 😊
Thank you for helping others to understand that, yes, Faeries are real! Beautiful!!!
Beautiful countryside. It is my dream to visit Ireland one day.
Thank you for making this video.
lovely, thank you so much
I love your video of the fairy fort. I am blessed myself to have one at the back of my house. I totally respect it and always ask permission to walk on it . I do believe in the fairies and the spirit world,,,✨🦋🧚🧚💫
How do you know if they gave you permission or not ?
@@rlleo90 I don't know, but I ask to let them know I respect their place
@@teresakenny6975 oh ok gd to know in case if i see a fairy fort
Great video. Quite original 😊 I liked that you mentioned the feeling from these places. I get that in places you're not supposed to feel anything. Stone Henge - nothing. Walking down by the springs near me after dark - almost pure terror
Hey Joanne, thanks so much. Yes, I get the very same and it especially happens inside the forest. You know them places in the forest that look so different that they start to glow or where light shines down through the trees? But agreed, I could say the same about visiting prominent monuments etc in Ireland as you did about Stonehenge :)
Nice visit to the fairies. One of these days I will go visit Ireland with my daughter and my grandson. We have roots there I am convinced. Great video.
Iam irish, live in NY state and it has always been my dream to travel to Ireland. I would love to see the countryside.
I just seen a fairy near a park, thats why im watching this now, it flew very fast, Melbourne Australia
Another synchronicity with this video.....while listening I was thinking about fashioning a wand from a twig for my granddaughter. I had just decided what type of wood I could use then you started talking about the Hawthorne. ❤ That was my choice of wood.
Oh wow.. your video is alive, i see spirit all around in the woods all watching you.. was little boy just see his head with his arms holding his chin leaning on a branch ❤❤❤ defo real .. great watch thank you. Would love to visit
Wow that was amazing Derek, tanks. I literally had goosebumps and felt energised watching this.
Ah this is brilliant, thank you Melanie!
Thanks for your quick introduction to this culture and history! I really appreciate how reverently you presented this experience. These places in nature really are sacred!
I saw 3 flying around some spruce trees across the street from my house in N. IL.
The way to feel when you've been going down the right path... There are lot's of stout, confident stag deers. If you don't see any type of fauna, it's time to be wary
I am sooo happy I found this channel!!!
This is the 1st time I've seen any of your videos & the way u made me feel was undeniable. I felt intrigued and peaceful. Thank u I have subscribed & can't wait to watch more🥰
Tough Soles and Your videos inspired me and now Im planning to hike thru several Irish trails my self. Love the positive attitude bro.
Hi Elvijs, Carl and Ellie are brilliant! That's amazing, what trails are you planning to hike?
@@DerekCullenOutdoors my plan is to do Barrow Way towards St Mullins and then hike the Wicklow Way back to Dublin. After that wanna do Sheeps Head Way and Dingle Way.
@@elvoo88 That's a beautiful stretch. Make sure to stay at Gregs campsite in Graigue if it's open. Sheeps Head Way is also on my list for this summer ;)
This draws us into our childhood stories..nice documentary Derek. We also documenting various places in Ireland.
Love this....I have never had a bad encounter with a The Faeries. They are wonderful Beings of Love and LIght!
Hi Derek, my ancestor, King Gallamh of Spain, known to history as Miledh, sent his sons, the Milesians, to invade Eire to avenge the murder of the youngest prince, Ir, by the three native De Danaan kings, driving the 'Shining Ones', the
Tuatha De Danaan, underground to such forts as you now investigate.
Agh so cool!! I am 67% Irish but never been to Ireland. I found your video because I’m showing my niece that faires are very much real. Her and I both looked in shock at each other when you said Samuel Beckett. Beckett is my last name!!! ❤❤❤❤
Thank you for sharing. Shifting fear into respect for sacred sites...lovely.
Thank you for showing this to us. It looked very different in the fort than the rest of the forest. What an amazing sense of presence you must feel in this space.
Enjoyed your video. I too have felt the magical places where there was a distinct feeling of fairy magic. I will continue to watch out for your videos. Hope you are able to see one, someday. That will be a very special day for you.
Thank you for this walk in the woods and seeing an Irish fairy fort. I have Irish roots and love fairy folklore.🧚♂💚
Very interesting video! So neat to hear different cultures folklores! Thank you for sharing!❤
4:34 the horizontal crack in which 2 or more entities are laughing. The tree is about to crash or will in the next storm
many thanks, Derek! Fairies live in our gardens too! in San Francisco!
I enjoyed your video. I live in the Pacific Northwest of the USA.
There is a magical place we visit called ECETI ranch. There are all manner of elemental beings, such as faeries and Bigfoot. I saw someone's phone video of a faerie, and I absolutely believe in them.
🧚♂️ ❤
Thank you for taking me on that trip! I’ve never seen anything like that. It was beautiful and I appreciate your insights about the area.
