- After WEEKS of work getting the truck in the air and clearancing everything underneath the car, we are finally running on 35s! This video marks us being a step closer to starting our camping/off roading adventures!
We ended up taking the whole bumper off in the end for Ian over at ian_westfab...

Truck looks sick man! What offset are the wheels? I was going to work Saturday to finish my 4/6 drop but something said to stop. Started looking at Baja fenders and tubular bumpers for the complete pre runner look but I wasn’t sure what tire/wheel combination would fit. So here we are, getting ready to go grill and stumbled on your video. Thank you for showing the details on fitting the front tires. Love the video and now it’s off to start planning.

Cool truck bro i used to have a silver 05 Silverado 4x4 i had 35s without lift or bigger shocks they just rubbed when turning same with my03 yukon slt

Not sure about your model , but might want to double check your intake doesn’t suck water without the wheel wells. A few Chevrolet trucks at work got hydro locked when the tires chewed them up.

I have a 2012 1500 Silerado 6 inch suspension lift gas shocks coul overs up front 5 leaf inch block in rear , Red Vision wheels on 35 inch Maxxis tires. And Apex front bumper with skid plate . Crew cab

Got a 03 silverado and put a 4 n a half inch lift with 35 toyos
Planning to go down from my 7in lift to a 4in lift but keep my 35x12.50 wheels not sure if I’m going to have to cut much
You’ll have to cut a good chunk, but it’s not too bad 👍🏼
I fit 35’s on my 2003 z71 on a 3 inch lift only had to trim a small pice of the lower valance and no NorCal tuck and have no rubbing

Everyone told me I should but honestly the stock gearing isn’t too bad on these
MPG could be better but we don’t drive too far
Give the tires a couple little bounces to help load them up in the back of the truck.

@@SpiritDriven bro so I installed the kit. I had some problems with the front shock bushings on top. There was a lot of pressure it seem like but thanks for your video. Everything seems to be working out pretty good there a little problems here and there but hell yeah bro thank you.
@@SpiritDriven I was seeing if there was any issues you had after the kit was installed like the stock shocks in the front the camber the toe any major issues when you are done. Thanks Bro really appreciate your help.

We still have a little bit of rubbing at full lock but it’s worth it to run the 35s 👍🏼👍🏼

Just put the same lift on my 00 Silverado and it looks great I want 35s on it but don’t want to sacrifice the reservoir for it is there any other way you know of

I ran 35s on my camburg 6.5 kit till the Reservoir ate itself. I'm sure there's a way to fabricate a smaller Reservoir but I don't have the plastic smithing skills for that 😅
Have the same lift on my 00 Silverado as well the only thing I’ve seen or thought about doing is buying the ac delco torsion keys that are adjustable and just cranking them up a tad bit

Yeah brother if you’re completely stock
When you hit potholes on the freeway it can be a little rough
But it’s worth it and you will get used to driving it

A LITTLE uncomfortable compared to original suspension
But I think it is worth it considering how much nicer it makes the truck look

And yeah I have a RC 4.5 short arm lift on my xj and other than the shocks everything held up pretty well till I went to 1 ton tie rods and drag links and replaced the shocks with bils ut yeah, just bought a cateye and am starting to build 🤘def going with 35's after seeing your video #subbed meow

You got a cool build, but I got to give you a little crap because when you bought this truck, you claimed a 10k Baja bill I see you did a Viking coil over conversion and freight it offers you know upgraded, travel or reinforcement as far as off-road racing it’s just a nicer ride rough country shocks you can’t claim Baja I don’t know if you remember, but I kind of said on your first video good luck building a Baja truck for 10k Jasmin, 10 K on your suspension without shocks.

Why not install a six in suspension lift on it so the 35's fit right and you could have just maxed the torsion bars out and put 3inch blocks on the back and a three inch body lift if you can't afford a suspension lift wow the ignorance in people these days!!!

Damn, that looks badass. I can't even fit 35's in my Taco without chopping all kinds of sh*t in the front unless I go with a high clearance front bumper but chopping up the cab mount, removing the liner and hammering the crap out of some pinch welds is mandatory...lol
Since I don't do anything crazy with my Taco (straight up mall crawling with the family), I stuck with some 32's..hahahahhah
